I mostly used this to microwave rice and chicken. It worked surprisingly well! The spoon that comes with it and both the general build and material are of notable quality. Easy to clean and easy to use. Really no downsides. The instructions on the uniquely feeling brown paper are likewise unique and well made.

It's a product I've bought three times; practical, durable, and perfect for minimizing time in the kitchen 👍🏼

Update: I erased my previous review for one that's more need to know about the container. I bought this well over a year ago. It lasted till it fell from a 7 foot drop. I initially thought it was ok till I went to use it and noticed it suffered a crack from the fall. This thing is a thin walled container so be careful where you store it. I made the mistake of storing it in a place that was an accident waiting to happen. Great cooker otherwise.

This works great for Red Beans & Rice cooked in your microwave and a lot more foods. I differently recommend this Microwave Pressure Cooker.

I cook my rice everyday on this and I works great. Love that I can just put in on the microwave and forget about it!! Also is faster than an electric pressure cooker.

I've bought other versions of this, which are soft plastic, & I like those not as pressure cookers, but as decent sized bowls with vented locking lids. I remove the extra pressure cooker parts & discard them so Idk if it can really work as a slow cooker or not. However, this eco friendly version is a brittle material, & while heating up leftovers recently, the bowl actually cracked from the bottom to the top. So if you are heating anything up in it, I would recommend looking it over very carefully before removing it from the microwave to make sure it's intact so you don't get burned by hot food leaking from it. I've never had any issues with the regular versions in the red & white soft plastic. They usually wear out after a couple years or so, which is to be expected for something made of soft plastic.

I am impressed with how well this rice cooker works in the microwave. It’s fast and the rice always turns out perfect.
