Will this brush work for removing pet hair from suede?

How should this brush be used - back and forth motion or only in one direction? I tried it, but seems like it’s leaving little marks in my suede.

Initially brush in multiple directions to clean. Finnish by brushing in one direction.

Can I use this brush on oiled nubuck leather?

Yes you can but once you do you may not use that brush on any other leather services . It will retain the oils
