It seems to work. It did stop the sour water smell that was in my washer. I use it once a month and it is keeping my machine clean.

We have a Samsung washer which is around 8 years old. We leave the door open on our washer all the time when not in use in order to let the drum area in the washer get air in order to prevent mold. In spite of doing this, the washer smelled, an in particular, towels that would get wet again, like after showering, would have an unpleasant order. It was so bad, we were considering getting a new washer. We had tried Affresh along with other washing machine cleaners. None had any significant impact. I heard about this product by radio host Gary Sullivan on his home improvement show. Since we were actually thinking about replacing the washer, I decided to try this in order to avoid replacing the smelly washer. The first time I ran it through, you knew something was happening as the laundry room stunk while the machine went through it's cleaning cycle with this product in it. We ran the cleaning cycle again but with no product. It was amazing, or Ahh-Some as they say. Two days later, I still noticed a faint trace of smell and I repeated the process again. I had read where others did a 2nd treatment as well. After all, the machine had many years of use without a cleaning like this. The 2nd treatment took care of the rest. I think I did another treatment 6-8 weeks later. So, we still own the machine and our bath towels now smell fresh even when wet. I know it seems a little expensive, but it will go a long way and the cheap products at the store don't work anyway. It also claims to work in your dishwasher as well.

First order can leaking, was replaced. When I was able to use the product I think it did a good job cleaning our dishwasher it smells much better and was easy to use.

This stuff is amazing. We live in the country, and have un-chlorinated well water. For years I've tried various products to rid the washer of its sometimes-overpowering stench, with only brief (or no) success. The we found this AhhhhSome product, which knocked out the odor with the first use. Just a tiny bit, used only once a month, totally eliminates any odor. Yes, it's expensive but, used once a month, this little container will last for two years. Much cheaper than other products that simply don't work. If you have well water and a septic tank, you won't ever want to be without AhhhSome on your shelf.

OMGosh, so easy and works great! It seems my front load washer has drains at the bottom of the gasket. I don’t know if that’s the only drain area or if it drains through the drum too, but progressively more and more water was being retained there. I wipe with a towel after every wash, and it got to the point I would have to go wring out the towel in the sink!! I’d been using the Affresh cleaner as recommended by manufacturer, but OBVIOUSLY it is no where as good as this gel! The brown gunk in those gasket holes, yuck! I scrubbed around with folded pipe cleaners and then ran a 2nd time, then followed it with an Affresh cycle. My unit has no door to access a drain filter to help clean this junk! So I’ve found the answer to my dirty washer issue with this Ahhsome product!! Their hot tub Clarity product was the answer to those plumbing gunk issues too! Their products WORK!

After several trying several inferior products to get rid of the mold/mildew in my front load washer, I finally found the Ahhhsome solution! I’ve placed another order to ensure I always have it on hand. Highly recommend!

I have used this product in both my washing machine and dishwasher and it did not yield any clean results. Both looked the same after running through the cycles on three separate times each. This is expensive, but would be worth the money if indeed it worked. It created a lot of suds in the dishwasher that leaked onto the floor. Don't waste your money on this product as it is a scam.
