I absolutely love this Silk Road Organic Lavender Essential Oil! The scent is amazing—fresh, soothing, and not overpowering. The rollerball glides on smoothly, making it easy to apply without any mess.

I use this as a deterrent for mosquitos and wasps in an 130 year old victorian house that has the original windows and has way too many entry points for bugs lol I put small glass jars (Gerber baby food jars work well) in my window sills, place a cotton ball inside and spritz a little of this. I often have one jar with lavender and one with peppermint in each window. Near the doors, I will often use a fake potted plant or flowers and add the cotton ball to the pot or just spray the flower/leaves if they can handle it. the Lavender also feels very relaxing. Sometimes I only use lavender, without the peppermint, in the bedrooms. The lavender also smells stronger than my peppermint spray (though I think the peppermint is more diluted). Sometimes, I also spray on outdoor rugs, pillows, and door frames that aren't directly exposed to the elements, but I don't know if it really does anything other than smell nice. Generally, we don't really like fragrances in our home and a few of the fam are hypersensitive to scents, but this can be sparsely applied so the scent is very subtle and still seems to help reduce the wasps. We used to have many wasps in the house in the summer, but now we seem to get less in the house each season. Hopefully none this year!

I was skeptical at first but it rolls on smoothly and the scent lingers. I would have liked for it to be an eye burning strong in scent but otherwise; it’s a good product!

Pros: English lavender smells very nice, protective dark brown glass bottle, metal rollerball feels cooling on the skin, quality MCT oil, reasonably priced Cons: lavender essential oil seems weak, scent completely dissipates within minutes of application Despite all the pros, I most likely won’t repurchase due to the cons.

I bought this as a gift for a family member. She’s in the hospital and I wanted to brighten her day. Thankfully, this light lavender did just that. It was easy to use an smelled lovely.
