Birkenstock Women's Open-Back Sandal

I do have to put them on the smallest adjusted size, but that really isn't a problem. The color is a very pretty pink with sparkles. Perfect for a light complexion, I don't look STARK WHITE ! Seriously. My Old pair of Birks like this were totally worn out, but my reaction was "So Comfortable" even putting those on this summer. So imagine what I felt like putting on a new pair. I got two in fact and they aren't cheap. I was afraid I would trip over the soles on the bottom of my old ones and they needed to retire anyway. The comfort of these is so much nicer and not like the old Dr. Scrolls if you remember those. Those were so so hard, but I did love wearing those growing up. Everyone had them. They were the style then. I just had to work for mine. I still have to work hard for mine, but it isn't such a struggle to get them with opposition from Mother. She didn't believe in the Brand name. Sometimes the name gives you the idea of the QUALITY your going to get out of a product. The saying does hold true that you pay for what you get and I would rather have one good quality product than a bunch of junk. Now that I'm older, this is my preference, I have earned that right, but from the beginning, I had to get my own and I worked hard to do that and I don't regret a thing. These sandals are oh some comfy, they have a molded foot bed, that might contribute to the comfort, they are pretty, last so so much longer than the typical sandal. They are adjustable, not so smothering hot during summer. I could rave all day about Birks. They have a cool braided sandal you might want to check out. So lots of variety besides to pick from. Cheaper here on Amazon than on the Birk website. I highly recommend any Birk Products and remember, you do get what you pay for.

I wanted SO much to make these neon orange sandals my summer sandal, and though I loved the neon orange, I couldn't make these work with more than one outfit. I ended up returning them for a more classic color combination, but I am sorry I had to do that because I really loved the orange, and the fit, and the comfort. Not a fan of the usual brown/tan Birkenstocks because they look way too casual, but this color combo is way more fashion forward. As a side note, for the one outfit that these sandals could work for, they worked out great! But I cannot justify a pair of shoes for just one outfit.

I have worn this particular Birkenstock Madrid slide for years and suddenly I could not get it anywhere, now it is on Amazon and I love it. Super comfortable, free shipping and great price.

Honestly, the best part about these Sandals was dealing with the seller BRITISH BRANDS! I give them 5 starz. They emailed me about a slight defect that the sandas had and asked of I still wanted them.. then they offered a discount. The defect was a discoloration on the pearl colored part.. it looked like a receipt with fresh ink had transferred onto the sandal and left a light blue color. It was not that big a deal in person! It was so small, I had to look for it!I emailed them that i still wanted them.They were still beautiful sandals!After some miscommunication, the seller offered to message me directly. She took the time to listen to me, arrange the purchase directly and the sandals got here in no time. Probably the best customer service Ive had through Amazon!British Brands... i would definitely purchase from you again!!

This is a fun look. I am a 40 UK (9) but ordered the 39. I run either way (half size up or down, depending on the shoe). With an open toe I ordered 39 because there's always room for toes in front without an enclosure (I think 40 wasn't available). It's a tad narrow in the heel but heel is not overlapping. The upper part is good with adjustable strap. I need to put the strap on the narrowest hole. Might be a good idea to try these on in the store before ordering.

Love my Birkies ! Navy is my favorite and this style is classic ! Comfort for all day ! I have been wearing Birkenstocks for about 20 years and have many styles and many colors ! I find that many stores in the US don't understand the fit of Birkenstocks ... unless you have a wide foot .. you will not like the mediums in Birks (they are the same as a wide width here !) ... the European fit for narrow is our narrow to medium ... I don't buy anything but the narrow !

I actually used the size chart and looked at my old orders of Birkenstocks. The sandals that came are a size too small and the shipping to return them is very expensive. I am very unsatisfied with my purchase.
