I drink only ceremonial grade matcha and I usually drink it straight with nothing added. I love to drink both Taste of Kyoto Reserve and also Element matcha and Wilderness Poets ceremonial grade. This Naoki is a delightful matcha. I ordered the Fragrent Yame Blend. It is rich and creamy, sweet. There is a slight grassy bitterness, but I think I make it strong so that might not show up if made weaker. Beautiful bright green color. I hope it shows in the photos, I did not use a filter so the green that you see is just what it looks like in the sunlight. Instant high energy boost. Very fresh. I think the $25 I payed is a good price for this matcha.

Beautiful green matcha has hints of umami but not too strong. It’s ok quality especially for the price and amount you receive. It whisks creamy and taste ok, I prefer a bit more umami in my matcha but for the price I’ll be subscribing for when I need a quick pick me up.

Either I suddenly got really good at making matcha or this powder is one of the most rich in flavor I have had so far! Cost efficient and perfect for lattes! Will be getting again.

I have ordered this matcha 3 times already and so far I enjoy it! The matcha is green and smells nice as I whisk it. This Yame blend is on the medium bodied side and easy to drink with very little bitterness to it. For the price point and how easily accessible it is, I will keep coming back for more!

I have ordered 3 different varieties of Naoki Matcha blends, and this one is my favorite! This Yame blend actually requires less sweetener than I usually add, which is a huge plus. ^_^ My 2nd favorite is the Superior Blend. The photos added include 2 scoops of Yame Match, 1/4 cup water for the matcha powder ... 1 cup of plain soy milk as the base, the matcha as the 2nd layer ... 1 tsp vanilla, 1 tbsp of brown sugar, and a dash more of soy milk to make the creamy foam top layer.

It’s a pretty fragrant matcha. However, I was disappointed with the taste because it lacks depth. It’s good for beginners if they want to try matcha.
