JUST FOR MEN Easy Comb-In Color, No-Mix, Darkest Brown A-50 (1 Pack)

I've been using the Just For Men Easy Comb-In Color for a while now, and it consistently delivers outstanding results. Good and easy to used

Given the times we live in ... I just colored my husband's hair at home today with this tube-comb applicator. His hair is pretty dark, so I opted for Darkest Brown. Following the instructions, I extruded enough product so it was oozing through the comb applicator tip before combing it all over through his DRY hair. So far, so good! His hair is about 1/3" at its shortest (sides & back) and up to 2" long on the top only. His head is LARGE, but not genormous! Just know that given these dimensions, I really needed TWO tubes to finish the job. To my bug-eyed irritation, I ran out of color, and he now has two spots of silver/dark hair at the neckline. Oh. Well. I dipped a Q-tip into the tube and applied just a tad to each eyebrow. In about 20 seconds flat we gasped! He out-Grouchoed Marx! Spooked, we wiped the color off his brow area after just a minute. Whew. Turned out a perfect shade! I think all men should dye their brows to match their dyed hair - it makes them look 10 yrs younger. I just ordered TWO tubes of this to do his hair again in 3-4 weeks. This time I'm going to blend dark brown with darkest brown and see what the result is. I'm hoping for a bit more low-lights and depth, but overall, the color looks better than when we went to the salon! There, they always applied FLAT DENSE BLACK - just too much like shoe polish. If there's one thing we've learned going through these times is: we have options! We'll save over $200/mo doing our own cut 'n color. Will it look tip-top professional? NO! But hey, that is as GOOD as it gets these days. We can live with the results.

Nice hair colour dye

The applicator tube & comb really easy to use, the product is already mixed into the tube & ready to go, I definitely prefer this way to the traditional at home dye boxes. (But be careful not not squeeze the tube too hard because it gets messy) the dark brown color is VERY dark, it’s pretty much black & it’s way too dark for me unfortunately. This dye stained my hands & scalp more than most dyes I’ve used, it left a big dark spot on my scalp & my fingers were tinted brown for a few days. It only takes 10 minutes to work but it left my hair feeling awful! I’ve never had at home dye (except bleach) leave my hair feeling this dry & damaged before. I might give this brand another try but I don’t think I’ll buy this specific one again.

You just comb it through your hair and it evenly distributes the color. The Darkest Brown shade looks natural and does a good job covering grays without looking overly dark or fake. The whole process only takes a few minutes, which is great if you don’t want to spend a lot of time dealing with hair dye. Overall, it’s a convenient and effective option if you want to quickly cover gray hair and keep a natural look. Definitely a product I’d use again.

I use this for my eyebrows. Works great!

1) No matter what you do or how careful you are, this will get everywhere. Are you wearing gloves? It will get under them. Towel down on the floor? It will find a way around. 2) The applicator is a joke. It's not a fine enough brush to actually give you any control unless your hair is very thick. It deposits more stain on your skin than it does on your hair. It is very, very difficult to clean and use more than once. 3) The color will last for maybe 3-4 days on your head hair. It will last for maybe 3 hours on your beard. In spite of not being able to penetrate beard hair, the color will last days on your skin, weeks on your towels, and forever on any accidentally porous surface in your bathroom. 4) The colors are OK. Passable. Not great. Lots of purple undertones. One point for not having to use developer. But, there is nothing "easy" about using this product. It is so antiquated and poorly designed as to be literally a joke. Surely someone in 2022 can come up with a dyeing process better than this. I like my husband with the darker hair. But, sheesh.
