This balm is AMAZING! I love to use it and use it to help manage my eczema during flares and avoiding medicated cream. Non- greasy, lightweight cream great for a variety of skin conditions. A little more expensive than other eczema products but so worth the price! My flares have calmed significantly with this cream!

I recently started having an issue with the skin on my neck and upper chest going through stages of being really itchy, irritated, burning, scaly (perimenopause is no joke folks). Sometimes it's so bad I have to sit with an ice bag on it all day. I tried an oatmeal based gel moisturizer, but it burned when applied and the effects wore off within hours. This stuff is awesome, but know a few things. First, it's very, very thick. In fact, what it mostly is and will remind you of, is diaper rash cream. And actually, the instructions on the tube mention it being for diaper rash. I cannot fathom anyone using this for that purpose because of my main complaint----for the size of the tube you are getting, this is so ridiculously over-priced. I can see paying $14 for the larger sized tube. But $14 for 1.35oz of basically diaper rash cream is criminal. The only reason I will continue to buy this is because it works so well, and unlike most diaper rash creams, this does soak into your skin leaving no white cast. I know this is marketed a lot on social media to use for repairing your facial skin barrier, but this is way too thick and heavy for all over facial use. My pores are screaming in pain just thinking about it.

There is no mincing words with this product, it’s not overhyped and if you are thinking about trying it, you need to. My skin barrier on my face immediately, looked and felt so much better. Any area on your body that’s upset loves this stuff. Because of how well it works I had the thought to put it on over a mile razor burn, and the next day it was completely healed. No redness. A little goes a long way and a lot still isn’t too much. A peace sized amount is truly all you need. When my face is really upset, sometimes I’ll just lather this on and let my skin drink it, and my skin drinks this stuff. It’s thick, but it’s not heavy or greasy. It’s so good. I tell everybody about it and if I could, I would buy like 10 and give them to everybody I know with any skin issues because it’s truly a miracle product. I wear it under makeup and it’s completely fine. It’s amazing. Instead of buying 10 other skin care product products to implement into your routine just buy this. Just buy this one. The value for the money is crazy.

My skin is extra dry and I love the feeling that this balm gives me. I noticed that the regular b5 balm seems to have a different formulation compared to the one that is called “soothing therapeutic” and so I have specifically bought this one because I love the texture. I like going to bed with the thick layer on top of all my serums and retinol.
