Miraculous for my situation and I was skeptical
This was the solution for my home theatre system. The DLP bulbs were burning out frequently on Mitsubishi, the Definitive Technologypowered speakers squeaked and the Wireless Router fluctuated. This unit fixed ALL of those things. I live in a rural area with a rural co-op providing electric power. I now know this caused spikes and valley in power. I was a skeptic. I can understand those reviews from people who don't have a problem with "dirty electricity"......probably doesn't make much difference to their system. For me though it is miraculous....better picture, clearer sound, no noise in system, stable Internet

Excellent Purchase
I had to replace my previous Belken power conditioner/surge protector because I noticed my TV quality of picture was extremely Poor. I thought it was the TV, but it was only 2 years old Sony. When I unplugged the TV from the Power conditioner to another outlet jack in the back, I noticed remarkable improvement. The power conditioner was about 12 years old so I started reviewing power conditioners. I looked at several reviews on You Tube and the consenses was that I would need to pay about $3000 to $5000 for a power conditioner/surge protector for it to work. LOL! Yea, Right! Seriously!? So I looked at the Panamax and most of the reviews were positive. So I purchased the Panamax. I noticed an incredible difference with Picture Quality on my Sony TV. Didn't think my TV would have that kind of resolution. I was very much impressed with it. I can't say for sure, if this would stop a Lightning strike or surge, but I sure could tell the difference when I connected it up.Highly recommend!

Think about this before you buy!
I have only had this unit for a couple months, and it works fine, although it hasn't really been put to the test. The caveat: Panamax DOES NOT honor any warranty on purchases unless they are made through an authorized dealer, and Amazon is not an authorized dealer. If you spend a little more elsewhere, Panamax offers a pretty lengthy 3 year warranty, plus a "$5,000,000 LIFETIME LIMITED CONNECTED EQUIPMENT PROTECTION POLICY".

"conditioner" not just a surge protector. This is the proper appliance.
Recommended through reviews and my bro who has one. Best for multiple plugs. Crutchfield has useful info. Rural electric is unreliable, needed to protect my electronic investments with a "conditioner" not just a surge protector. This is the proper appliance and best in class for the money. 2nd purchase of this model.

This unit replaced our 18 year old model. I trust this brand and expect it will last as long as the 1st

Sacraficed itself to save my equipment...
I had an older version of this, I mean I have had it for years and years. Worked great as a line conditioner never had any problems with my equipment that was plugged into it. Why I had to get another one, because it sacrificed itself when lightning hit my house. Not one piece of equipment was harmed, Would I recommend getting this product? You bet in a heart beat.. Saved me a lot of money.

8+1 = Nine clean power holes ready to be protected
This product arrived next day well packed and ready to rock right out of the box. Enclosed directions are sketchy at best and do not provide any in depth information as to the actual setup or protection provided, basically they are worthless. However if yuo go to Crutchfield they have a wealth of information about this product. After reading their setup and configuration device I plugged all my A/V products in and powered it up. NIce steady voltage at first, there will be fluctuation but apparently if it dips to 97 Volts it will shutdown. Mine fluctuates between 116 - 121. It can be a little distracting while watchjing a movie in a dark room. I found myself watching the numbers but that is probably cause it's a new toy. The great thing about this unit is you can turn the LED numbers off, problem solved. The work lights can also be dimmed all the way down to off. Can't say I have noticed any improvemnet in picture quality on my Samsung 60" Plasma (PN60F8500AFXZA) and I may bypass the coaxial protection just to elimate another device in the signal chain. The sound is definelty cleaner and more responsive from my Sony - 1155W 7.2-Ch. 4K Ultra HD A/V Home Theater Receiver (STRDN1040) the bass response from my subs is improved as well. This product has two sepeated banks of four plugs each bank is optimized for different uses. I suggest reading cruthfileds guide to help you plug the right equipment into the optimal plugins. I have yet to use the front plug in and I can't say I ever will but it has one if you need it. I am happy with this purchase and feel comfortable it is protecting my investment in Home Theatre.
