FINALLY! I have wanted one of these devices for about a year after seeing one on a commercial (not for the product, but for a pharma advertisement, lol, the things we notice in the weirdest places). Well, I finally had to buy one as we are juicing so many lemons and now oranges and the electronic juicer that I purchased was just not getting all of the juice out of the fruit. Enter Zulay Kitchen. After viewing many juicers and reading 100's of reviews, I settled on Zulay and am very happy that I did. I will start by saying that this juicer is high quality and very strong as well as very well made. Keep in mind, this is not for the weak or may not be great for people with joint problems or pain in their wrists. It takes a little strength for it to be totally effective. I think people with joint issues or pain can still use it because it works so well and they can use their body weight as leverage to help push the plunger down. I use pressure to keep it against the back splash on my counter and that helps with the leverage of pushing the plunger down. Ideally, a crafty person, such as myself, will eventually find a way to mount this so it remains completely stationary, but that will come at a later time. So, that all being said, now let's discuss results. The results are the fact that this juicer get every bit of the juice out of the fruit. 3 oranges gave me 2 - 8oz cups of juice and it took six in the electronic juicer for the same amount (results are not guaranteed, keeping in mind that some oranges are just not as juicy as others and also, be mindful of the fruit size that you intend to juice). The electronic juicer I am speaking of is one that turns when you push the fruit down on it. I think it wastes juice by not pulverizing the pulp. So, I've done lemons, oranges and grapefruits and each time, it worked flawlessly. It cleans up very easily and looks kinda cool on your counter top. Mine is black and and stainless steel and looks great with the gray granite. As you can see in the picture, I have strainers to filter the pulp because this works so well. If you don't like pulp, get these screens to keep near by, they work great to remove the pulp. Also, it cleans up very very easily. Last but not least, a Pyrex 2 cup measuring cup fit perfectly under to catch the juice. I would recommend purchasing this product.

This thing is great. Very sturdy, easy to use, and powerful. No mess and very easy to clean. I bought it for making fresh lemonade. Trying to get away from mass produced soft drinks full of sugar and chemicals. Absolutely wonderful ice cold refreshment on a hot summer day.

Living in Tucson we have fresh citrus available much of the year and when it’s there on the tree, picking it is not the problem. It’s peeling. I have wrecked my fingernails and tried several different fruit peeling gadgets but the benefit of the delicious fresh juice has eluded me, with oranges going to waste, even when I have been able to give some away. We either have no oranges, when it’s not the season, or we have so many they go to waste. Enter the non-electric hand operated juice press! Suddenly the rate limiting step in the processing of fresh oranges into something fresh sweet and delightful can be accomplished with ease. And no more tearing up the thumbnail beds or fumbling around with the cute little plastic peelers that end up squeezing half the juice out of the fruit while you’re trying to maneuver, which kind of defeats the purpose. I love this juicer. It’s easy to clean. There is one small thing to know about. Well, two. I bought the black one. There is something about this enamel (the enamel part does not touch the fruit at all, that’s protected from the coated finish) but there is something about the smell of this item, it reminds me of an electrical appliance that has gotten too hot. Like burning plastic. And this is 100% hand operated. The offgassing, if you can call it that has diminished over the past 3 weeks since I opened the box. Now it’s barely noticeable. I think it kind of smelled like burning electrical / plastic at first, then it kind of smelled like roof tar after a few days and now it almost smells like nothing. It’s only there for the first couple weeks. Do NOT let this report of a bad smell on the body of the device (not the part touching the fruit, just the parts touching everything else) …. Don’t let it stop you from buying this little kitchen friend. The smell goes away by itself. The useful device is a worthy element in a simple health-striving kitchen. Item number two - cleaning this thing… to clean this thing, simply remove the two shiny metal parts that can be rinsed and or washed in a tub of normal dishwater. (Could go in the dishwasher too I imagine). Wait you say, how do you get these two shiny parts unstuck from eachother for cleaning? Observe carefully there is a little slot in the one and a tab in the other. Just rotate the middle part inside the outer part and it slips out easily. If you don’t see this feature (I wear glasses so I miss things sometimes) it would be easy to think the two soap and water washable shiny parts this SOB have become jammed and impossibly stuck together. Once you catch on this tab - slot fitting feature you discover it’s incredibly easy to clean. The whole device can be rinsed off in the sink and dried with a towel or air dried. If we lose electricity from time to time we still have orange juice. The simplicity is astonishing and it’s a beautifully designed piece of artwork for those who appreciate simplicity, low tech and high function. I think the price is reasonable and I wish I had gotten myself one of these sooner.

I have had this in my Saved For Later cart for a very long time. It just felt like a splurge item, and I have a small lemon squeezer. For a while they even ran out of most of the colors, but some time recently they started offering the rainbow once again. I love my juice squeezer! I'm so happy with it. Easy to use. fits under my cabinets on the counter. Matches my kitchen. It's also very sturdy and heavy! It's not going anywhere. I get much more juice than from the hand squeezer, too. Oh ,and super easy to clean.

So far i’ve used oranges, lemons, and pineapples no problems. I’ve been making fresh lemonade with honey, and loving every minute of it. Quiet needed to be lubed up a little bit with some olive oil. I makes nice fresh juice. I’ve gotten tons of liquid from pineapples. Lemons orange oranges. It’s been great. Hasn’t tipped over on me yet so it’s pretty sturdy it’s not too hard to clean up. It’s not messy when you juice everything works great

This juicer is excellent for making lemonade. Squeezes each half a lemon basically instantaneously and super easy to clean. Very worth the investment. I got this for a food truck but almost want to get one for myself at home!

For a couple years now I've been addicted to fresh lemon and limeade. I used a hand squeezer but finally found this beautiful device. It is very sturdy and the large handle has excellent leverage to squeeze the last drops for any citrus. You do have to put one hand on the top/back when pressing unless you want to bolt it down. I use one of those 1 cup glass measuring beakers with the 3 spouts that fits perfectly beneath it (the height may be adjustable I just never had to). 3 lemons and 2 limes makes 1 cup of pure juice for me, which makes a gallon of lemon limeade depending on how strong you like it. I can cut and squeeze all of them in maybe a couple minutes. I have done oranges which is just as easy, but honestly Sam's sells a 1/2 gallon for $10 and that's even easier. The parts come apart super easy by a slight rotation, and I hand wash them immediately so they're ready for the next time. I didn't think about this at first, but the "hat" or part that pushes down on the citrus, does get residue on it from the rind, which is more difficult to remove than just rinsing. I lay the thing on it's side and take a damp paper towel with some baking soda to "scrub" the inside of the hat, finally wiping it off with a clean dampened paper towel. Start to finish only a few minutes. I'm retired, so I've seen my share of kitchen gadgets, but this one is easily one of my favorites. If you like fresh juice I strongly recommend it. I've had it almost a year now, but i was just now considering it, I'd want to hear this type of review, which is why I took the time to do it.

I had this in my cart for over two months as I was weary this would be another gadget I don’t use. I have used this consistently since we purchased it a few weeks ago. Works wonders and is super easy to use. Fresh juice and clean up done in under a minute!

Spremuta ogni mattina? Marmellata di limoni ricevuti in regalo? Con questo attrezzo i tempi di preparazione si azzerano. 20 secondi o giù di lì per preparare una spremuta di due aranci da zero. Pochi minuti per spremere una cassetta di limoni. Non ancora provata col melograno ma sono pronto a farmi stupire. Equilibrio ed estetica eccellenti, facilità di utilizzo sorprendente (non necessità di alcuna forza), pulizia rapidissima. Andando a cercare il pelo nell'uovo: - la chiavetta per regolare l'altezza dei vari bracci è troppo debole e rischia di spanare le viti (tutto sommato però, meglio non regolare nessun altezza e non rischiare di sfasare la posizione corretta della leva). - devi trovare un recipiente adatto ad entrare tra le gambe dello spremiagrumi (probabilmente solo la minoranza di quelli che hai a casa andranno bene, ma te ne farai una ragione). - se non hai una cucina spaziosa, fuori stagione lo spremiagrumi risulta un po' ingombrante. Nel complesso comunque, molto molto soddisfatti.

The product itself is a good design and reasonable quality but the base arrived bent so it would not sit flat on the bench top. I sent it back because of this. Will consider reordering but hope they won’t send me the same one again….

El exprimidos cumplió mis expectativas. En la primera experiencia pude exprimir 60 kilos de naranja para elaborar licor. Es bastante potente y no requiere gran esfuerzo en la labor. Fue importante aprender a calibrar la fuerza, para que el zumo (aceite) de la cáscara no salga en exceso y el jugo no adquiera ese sabor. En cuento a la calidad de los materiales y la estructura y el diseño estoy satisfecho, creo que su resistencia es suficiente para un uso demandante en temporadas de cosecha.
