This is one of those kitchen gadgets that manages to be both fun and genuinely useful. The Nessie ladle works well, though I do wish the handle were just a little longer for deeper pots. The crab pot holder is surprisingly handy and does a great job holding spoons, utensils, or pot lids while cooking. It's also at a convenient height that makes it easy for both adults and kids to use. The real star of the set, however, is the colander crab. Installation takes seconds, it's easy to use, and it solves the problem it's designed for without any fuss. Sometimes the best kitchen tools are the simplest ones, and this is a great example. A fun bundle that actually earns its place in the kitchen.

Because the crab has two legs and two arms, he seems to hold utensils better than the figures that try and balance the spoon/spatula, etc in one central location, like the dog. He does fit on some pans better than others, depending on the lip, but that's a pan design issue and not a product design issue. Perfect for skillets! He's really well made, super easy to clean, and he doesn't get super hot. I got him on a prime day sale, so definitely worth the price!

I bought this for my sister for Christmas because she bakes and cooks a lot. It ended up becoming a family used item, as it's super cute and you can use it for anything you're cooking on the stove. I turn it sideways when I use it so anything dripping off my spoon will go right back into the pot or pan. If it gets dirty (which it usually doesn't because it works very well) I just throw it on the top rack in the dishwasher and it comes out squeaky clean and ready to use. I highly recommend!!

I love my little crab man, but he has become more of a decoration than a spoon holder. He doesnt sit well on the sides of my pans, he always leans off and drops my spoons. And a lot of my spoons are too thick for his little claws! He stands up just fine on his own but he doesn't like to hold my spoons while standing on the counter either. Hes pretty unstable, but I love him.

These are super cute and functional. The strainer fits on all different sized things from regular bowls to bigger pots and is easier to clean than a giant strainer.

Cute! This definitely adds some whimsy to the kitchen. However, it did slide around and did not hold my spoon very well on my pot. It didn't balance and kept falling. It will help with keeping a pot lid open to help release steam. A bit disappointed, but it sits by my stove to look cute while I cook.

Make sure you twist him so he counter-balances.. great idea and he’s adorable too
