This is a very mild-tasting tea that offers just enough caffeine to give you a bit of a lift. I've tried some other high-caffeine teas (that were VERY high in caffeine), and they all tend to be a bit harsh on the stomach. Not this one! I wouldn't say that this would keep you up late if you need to pull an all-nighter, but it will definitely help out in the morning if you didn't get enough sleep.

I drink tea every single day, usually multiple times a day, and this is my favorite flavor! It's stronger than regular black tea (maybe even a bit stronger than English Breakfast but not crazy bitter or anything), and I love the extra caffeine because I can't drink coffee every single day (hurts my stomach), so I use this in place of coffee. I honestly can't comment on the boost it gives, but that's because I could drink a Red Bull and then take a nap. I do it more for the placebo; I tell myself it has more caffeine, and that helps me get into more of a "Go Mode" in the morning or when I'm lagging in the afternoon. I drink it almost every day, and I love that everything is biodegradable. We put the used teabags in our compost bin for garden compost. TL;DR Amazing flavor, extra caffeine, reasonable price, environmentally friendly, and a forever favorite of mine!

Perfect for mornings

Good Flavor, Easy To Make, Incredible Quality. Does this have more caffeine then the standard? You betcha. Will it keep you awake as good as coffee? Doubt it. There's a clear label on the side of the box that let's you know it's only slightly weaker than a typical cup of coffee. I mean it's Tea. It shouldn't be expected to be at the same level as a cup of joe, and as someone who has been using a ton of coffee in the past, I'm sure my caffeine receptors are probably fried. So I can't confidently say it will keep you awake as well as that. But this will def help you kick a coffee habit, no doubt in my mind about that. That being said, you can't beat the value given here. 20 bucks for 120 bags of tea? Each one sealed for freshness? That's just a good deal. Flat out. It's easy to share with other people. And assuming you drink as much as one cup a day, that's still enough for about 4 months. Bigelow's a damn fine company. I love their teas. I recommend them, even if I wish I were capable of staying awake a bit better.

This is my husband's favorite tea and I can't find it in any local stores. Great price. Wish we could buy a smaller amount. 6 boxes are a lot!

This stuff is hard to find in stores, which is a pity - it's really good black tea. The extra caffeine is from a tea extract, so it's not purely artificial crap.

I've been drinking this specific tea for years. Well blended, perfect amount of caffeine, and just the right thing to pick me up in the morning. Side note: it makes a great iced tea too, just brew it up like regular tea.
