3M Adhesive Remover Citrus Base 6041, Net Wt 18.5 oz, Pale Yellow

USed this to removed some 3M VHB that had sat in the hot Nevada sun for a year. Without this, we never would have succeeded! Just make sure to try it on paint in an out of the way location before spraying on exposed bodywork. When using it we suggest wiping it off as soon as you can. It didn't do any damage to the paint on our Jeep, but be cautious. This stuff works super well though!

Yes it’s expensive. You get what you pay for! This product is a staple in my shop. What a time saver and frustration reliever.

I use this to remove epoxy or some similar type of cement-like glue from smooth black plastic. My first attempt I waited the suggest 10-15min and used a cheap plastic scrapper t avoid damaging the plasticwith some success applying heavy coats, meh... The real success is when I left the plastic soaked in it Overnight.. The next day, the nasty adhesive was 98% easier to remove, and there is no discolorationor any damage whatsoever. It seems very similar to Goo Gone, especially with the citrus aroma and incredibly oily consistency. There is plenty of product in the can, so theres no need to be conservativeusing it. I have no idea what the indoor store purchase price is but it is worth the money after usingother pungent products that are not guaranteed to work. ** FYI: It has a wide spray pattern and thecitrus smell can linger without proper ventilation.

I was replacing the pad on a paddleboard and had to remove the old adhesive. Tried goof off and many other adhesive removers from the hardware store and none of them worked without a lot of rubbing and elbow grease. Decided to try the 3m product and am so glad I did. Instead of a liquid mess like the other products, all I had to do was spray the remover on the old adhesive, wait a few minutes, and either run a putty knife under or wipe off the dissolved glue. Tough spots required an additional application, but it was quick and easy. Finished the whole board in the time it took to remove a 10”x10” section with the other products. And I have most of the can left. A little goes a long way. And it doesn’t stink like other products.

I needed something to remove tough doublesided adhesive that was left behind from previously installed equipment. I used a heat gun to remove the bulk adhesive then sprayed this 3M Adhesive Remover and used a cloth to remove the remaining adhesive leaving a like new surface. It takes the work out of the job. I highly recommend.As a side note, the way I found this product was I used to use another product that had a very strong chemical smell. It was like a strong finger nail polish remover. After several complaints it forced me to have to find another procuct. That product was this 3M Adhesive Remover. There is absolutely no chemical smell at all, and has a nice citris smell.

Somehow, my package arrived (Dropped Off) at my door per the tracking information, but I never saw it. After a thorough search, I contacted this seller (Gatzies) and they quickly offered me either a refund or reshipment of the 3M spray. As I needed this for a project to complete on time,I had already purchased a small can during this time frame. They provided a credit for the full original purchase price. Very good customer service. I will purchase from them again in the future. The product,although pretty expensive, is the best product on the market. I use it for several tasks including cleaning cleaning of anything metal, plastic and even grease stains on clothing.The ingredients are organic and does not include petroleum or alcohol which is a great plus to me - Try it out - It goes a long way!!
