Good knife rack. The magnet holds knives well and it keeps my kitchen organised. The bamboo looks nice and it was easy to install. Does the job perfectly.

Really impressed with this. It looks sleek and attractive, it's chunky without being too much of a 'feature', and, most importantly, it works. Although sealed inside plastic, it did come with 2 grubby marks on the top which I could not remove. I presume these were made during assembly and, as they sit on the narrow top/bottom face they don't show so I'm not that bothered, but it's something that surprised me given the otherwise high quality of the product. Easy install with the paper template and fixings. It came with 2 metal discs which I assume were meant to act as magnets for notes (they're not magnetic), but I just use mine for knives and scissors. We made sure to screw the screws in far enough that it sits flush with the wall and doesn't wobble, and it's been problem-free for the 3 weeks I've been using it. I've not had to clean any major mess from it, but it wipes clean without issue and has some nice lacquer or similar coating, not raw wood. I've made a couple of little scratches in mine, but they don't really show and don't appear to be causing any ill effects. As you can see I've got multiple large Sabatier knives on my rack and they are rock solid. The magnets are strong, and they cover enough of the area that you're not searching around to find the pull: just wave your knife near it and it'll catch. The instructions suggest you should place larger knives handle-up, presumably to prevent them sliding and falling off. I'd imagine for very heavy knives you'd be best following this advice, but, as you can see from my video, my chunky Sabatier do not budge. I paid £19.90 and am impressed with the quality for that price. I'm debating buying a second now they're on offer, even though I don't have a clue where I'd put it!

Love this, after updating my kitchen, I replaced the metal one with this lovely oak one and it looks perfect in my kitchen. Comes with a template so simple to install

tl;dr: Stylish, well-built knife rack with strong magnets and loads of space, but the left-most magnet on my unit is weaker and lets thin, heavy knives slip. Mounting note: Although it’s designed to be screw-mounted, I attached mine to kitchen tile using Scotch Mirror Tape, and it’s extremely secure. If you go this route, make sure to thoroughly clean the surface first with isopropyl alcohol for best adhesion. I’m really happy with this knife rack overall. It looks great in the kitchen and feels solid and well constructed. The magnets hold knives securely, and there’s plenty of room (I currently have 5 knives on it with space to spare.) The only downside is that on my unit is that the left-hand-most magnet seems noticeably weaker. Thin but heavy knives (like a bread knife) tend to slowly slip down, while the other magnets hold perfectly fine. Overall, a very stylish and practical knife rack with just a small magnet inconsistency on my unit. Would still recommend

So I got the stainless steel version and there is certainly no issue with magnet strength that has been reported with some of the wood versions. The knives are definitely going nowhere when they attach to the block. After seeing another review I attached it to my stainless steel splashback using the strength of the magnets alone. I didn’t fancy drilling tiles and it saved some wall space. If you do this you need to remove the mounting plate from the back as this weakens the magnetic field at the back. You also need to take care with your fingers when attaching to the splashback s as the magnets are so strong that they could give your fingers a painful nip if you get them trapped behind the bar. For safety reasons this method of attaching would not be a good idea with the wooden versions and may well not work anyway. Once attached it is very secure -even with a full load of knives it is very difficult to forcibly move it and removing it takes quite a lot of effort. It took 8 knives reasonably comfortably.

Superb, buy it, aesthetically pleasing, beautifully functional and five gold stars to the person/people who devised the template for fitting and the fitting instructions, everything should be this simple to fit. Buy again ? Oh yes

The rack is very well-made, and has a powerful enough magnet to old a heavy cleaver. It matches our cabinets closely enough to look as if it was part of the original installation. We are pleased.

Powerful magnet, well made, looks great, good slots on the back made it easy to make it level. Cardboard template made it easy to drill holes at the right place on the wall

Top Messerhalter, tut seinen Job hervorragend und sieht sehr gut aus. Magnet ist stark, alle Messer halten gut. Er ist viel schwerer als gedacht. Wollte ihn erst kleben statt bohren, aber das wäre wohl nichts geworden. Die beigelegten Schrauben sind ziemlich groß, habe kleinere verwendet.

Just as it's shown on the images. Came with a paper to help on the drilling. Easy to install, very nice look and touch.
