They work

Terrible product! Do not buy! They only burn for a few minutes. Couldn't even get fire going with a whole sheet

Good results for the money. Ease of use. They lite easily. Burn consistently. 1 square can be broken in half and still able to get a nice fire going. I use them to lite pellets and pine cones in my wood burning stove.

I used this on some really heard wood that was difficult to light with newspapers. I set a square or two on an empty tuna can under the wood along with newspaper next to it and usually within a minute or two I had a fire started in my fireplace. Two boxes lasted me about six or seven weeks of daily fires. Sometimes I would get by with using only one square, sometimes two. Good product, economical, I'll buy it again. You just light the corner of the square, set it under the wood you want to light and keep it there till the fire catches.

They are small but we find using two work great!

These are great and don't take up a lot of space, we use them for the backyard fire pit and when going to the cabin to make sure we can get fires started. Easy to pack, easy to use. No complaints!

I'm sure these things work well to start a tiny fire, but when I opened the Amazon box and this tiny little container came out, it was like who shrunk the firestarters? These things are very small folks, about one quarter the weight of the firestarters I used last time.The box for these things can almost fit in one hand, the photography makes them look a lot larger than they are.But, I will be fair and give them a chance. If one of these things starts my cold fireplace, with lots of paper of course, well, maybe I'll eat a corner of the box. But I don't think so.For camping, this looks like a winner, easy and small to pack in.

These are ok. The last ones I got I had found at my local Acme. They seemed to be the same naterial but were a triangle shape and you lit them by striking on the box just like a match. These you need a match or lighter and they dont really light quickly for me. They are skinny annd square so the dont stand up on there own so you have to wedge it in under the grate somewhere before lighting. Overall it does the job, but not my favorite. After lighting it stayed lit and started fires easily
