I bought this battery for really just one purpose - to power my CPAP when I went camping. I’d read some good reviews of this battery for that purpose, but it didn’t (initially!) meet my expectations… I was trying to power my CPAP with the normal AC adapter the CPAP used at home and I couldn’t even get a full night’s sleep out of it. Initially, I was going to return the battery, but then I read the reviews more carefully and discovered one of the reviews mentioned powering the CPAP with a DC adapter that plugged into the cigarette lighter adapter on this battery. It actually took me a while to find an inexpensive adapter like that for my CPAP but once I did, I gave it a try. My initial test let me run the battery for some 5.5 hours on roughly 15% battery usage! After that time, I had two power outages in my home and since I keep the battery charged at all times, I was able to just grab it and use it right away - it let me sleep even though the power was out - that was a really good sign! This past week, my family of SEVEN went on a loooong road trip (almost sixty hours of driving!). If you can imagine - the kids being able to play in the car on their electronics was pretty important to help prevent screaming and chaos so we could drive safely. I plugged the battery into the van’s cigarette lighter adapter, and the battery got a consistent 42watts of charge for the entire trip. I used a variety of devices in association with the battery to help my family. I have a “Ugreen” power delivery AC adapter that has three USB-C charging ports (two of them are rated at -*65*- watts!!) and a single USB-A port rated at 22 watts. I also used a cigarette lighter adapter from LinkOn that has a single USB-C rated at 45 watts and a USB-A rated for “quick charging”. These two along with the 3 built in USB-A charging ports the battery already provides gave me a total of FIVE USB-A charging ports and FOUR USB-C charging ports. I had all the charging cables required to allow my family to maintain charge on three Nintendo Switches while my kids were playing on them (this isn’t the easiest thing - many batteries out there can charge but not keep up with use of Nintendo Switches!), three iPads, and everyone’s iPhones. We NEVER, even once, had an issue with someone running their battery dead in all the time we were driving. We did have times, with that incredibly amount of load on the battery, where we were outputting more wattage than the battery was taking in (something like 42 watts in and ~48 watts out for example). During those times, the battery would slowly drain over time, but not rapidly. Whenever we were a few hours away from our destination I’d just have the family unplug enough devices to ensure the Jackery was taking in more power than it was putting out (say 42 watts in and ~28 watts out). Then we would arrive at our destination with the Jackery at 100% battery life to ensure I’d have several nights of sleep with the CPAP even if we weren’t able to charge the battery (which never happened). The most I think I ever used in a single night on my CPAP was 22% and that was when I was dead to the world after driving more than 24 hours in a two day period! So like I said in the title - my experience with this battery has gotten better the longer I’ve had it. A DC power adapter for my CPAP ensures I can EASILY get multiple nights of sleeping on a single charge. An AC and cigarette lighter adapter allow me to add a ton more USB-C and USB-A charging ports for my family on road trips. Charging the Jackery itself with AC or DC power allows me to keep it charged while even (temporarily) providing more power than the battery can take in! Finally, I also bought the solar charger for the battery and while I’ve only confirmed it works at home, it gives me amazing peace of mind to know that in the COMPLETE absence of power I’d be able to power and charge our devices with the sun alone (It works great even in cloudy skies here in Arizona). Overall, I really and truly cannot recommend this battery enough. I won’t go on any extended road trip without it ever again. And while my particular Jackery (explorer 500) works as good today, 2.5 years after I bought it, as the day I bought it - if it were ever to die, I’d buy another one immediately. Incredible value for the money! :)

Okay, I will start out by saying I am a U.S Service-member with over twenty years of Honorable service. With that being said I’ve done multiple tours to almost every desert in the Middle East, tours in tropical environments, tours in some pretty secluded off grid undisclosed locations. I only put this out there because I’ve had the pleasure of being a Jackery customer for years and years and the Jackery 240 portable power station, , the Jackery Solar Saga 60w tri-fold panels, and the small Jackery portable chargers were compact and lightweight enough to fit into my pack with ease and leave me room for the other essentials. Imagine being in the middle of nowhere and have a weeks worth of power at your fingertips for recharges, lights, portable fans, small burner for coffee and cooking. Then being able to say it never failed you, always recharged quickly, and has been through the worlds harshest conditions and environments, yet functions like the day you pulled it out of the box. So this began my Jackery passion. Which led me to purchase the Jackery 500. Everything I’ve said above applies to the 500 ten fold folks. Being Military my pay isn’t great so I’ve had to accumulate these items over the course of years, however never have I had to justify spending the money to my wife, as long as I said the word Jackery. Because she’s used the items as well here at home guard. My son plays Football and daughter plays soccer in the Nevada desert just miles away from where the annual Burning Man event is held. Hot dry desert climate, no trees for shade, just direct unrelenting heat. This genius woman, the love of my life used our Jackery Portable power stations to run dual fans, and a small refrigerated trucker cooler during daytime practices in a pop up sunshade tent, all neatly placed in one of those little soccer mom wheeled totes, and a folding low loveseat chair. Talk about super mom, with lots of friends who also wanted to stay cool. Then when night fell and the kids weren’t finished with practice, my lovely wife handed over the Jackery 500 to the coaches who then plugged LED lights into it and lit up the field for the kids giving us an extra hour or two to practice without the heat. This convinced her to give me permission to buy the SolarSaga 100w panels. Money was tight but she gave me the go ahead and we’ve never looked back and haven’t got an ounce of regret or buyers remorse for a single product. But this review is neither for the the Jackery 240, the Jackery 1000, the SolarSaga 100w or 60w panels. It’s not even for the Jackery portable chargers. This review is to let you know, the day the Jackery 500w Portable Power Station became available we did not hesitate for a second to buy it. With the stories we heard from friends about California and Washington power outages, the Covid-19 Pandemic, and any one of the many RV trips we take into Gods country to get away from it all for a few weeks, we both agreed this was the best thing for our family. Why use heavy loud generators, carry fuel, deal with all that monotonous nonsense, when you could literally live off the Jackery Families products. I say Family because over the years I’ve had multiple email contacts and numerous phone calls with them, and every interaction was amazing. Courteous, professional, and the products are literally second to none. The Jackery 1000 is my newest addition and there’s nothing I can say about it that the 240 or 500 don’t already represent. Twice the power, twice the life, multiple solar panel options, can recharge through car, wall, or good ol sunshine. I could get technical and go down the path as some of these reviewers do, but you anyone can read the box. I can sum everything the box says by just telling you that these products, put out by this amazing company, can enhance anyone’s life, save somebodies life, and will probably last your the rest of yours. It’s a no brainer for us. I’ve purchased every product so far with a smile knowing its perfect and the people handing it to me care enough to treat you as if you were family.

Update: As of December 1, 2025, both of my Jackery Explorer 500's are still working very well and I also purchased a Explorer 1000 to power my Maytag Refrigerator/Freezer. The E1000 is also working just fine. Jackery produces reliable products that just work when you need them. Update: I purchased a second Jackery Explorer 500 on 11-29-2019 after I discovered what a great unit my 1st Explorer was. Both of the units came in really handy a few days later when a utility pole guy cable anchor failed and the pole fell across the road. The power went out just as I was getting dressed and before breakfast. Both units powered table lights so my wife and I could get dressed and eat breakfast. I also plan to purchase a Jackery Explorer 1000 to run my Maytag Refrigerator/Freezer. I purchased a Jackery Explorer 500 on 8-31-2019 and it arrived VIA FedEx a few days later. I have been testing and using it. I am well pleased with my purchase and also purchased a Solar Saga 100 watt Solar Panel a few days later. This combination works really great. My home is located near the edge of my electric service area and it gets several power outages each year. My wife has some health issues and does not have good vision. Light in our bathroom has become an issue for us even in the daytime because it does not have any outside windows. The Jackery E500 has become very useful as it will easily power fans, LED table lamps and it is easy to move it from room to room as needed during any power outage. The fan likes the sine wave output and my Ham Radios like the regulated 12 Volts (actually 13.2 volts) much better than other units that only have 9 to 12.6 Volts available depending on charge. It is very nice to be able to see the % charge displayed rather than a few lights or bars that leave you guessing at the remaining charge. The 518WH is a good size for power outages because after recharging your phone and other small items you still have power left for the TV, Computer, table lamps and electric blanket. The recharge time may be about the same (slow) as the smaller ones but you can recharge at two times the Watt Hour rate because of the larger battery. I have a solid state Oscilloscope that the Jackery Explorer 500 can power for several hours and that makes one of my best pieces of test equipment truly portable. I have a UPS to protect my desktop computer that gives me 20 minutes of runtime in a blackout but if I unplug the UPS from Utility power, in a blackout, and plug it into my Jackery Explorer 500 I can extend the operating time four more hours. I liked my Jackery Explorer 500 so much that I purchased a second one when It was on sale a few days ago. A Message sent to '[email protected]' with some questions brought a next day response. Team Jackery advises that the 6mm DC output jack actually requires a 6.5 X 1.4mm plug. I am still looking for a good source of these plugs to create some powerpole jumpers for radio and test use. I purchase a DC jumper cable to use with the Jackery E500. An 8mm to Anderson Powerpole to connect my solar panel and other charging equipment. Update: Here is some information that I discovered today about the 6mm DC output connectors on a Jackery Explorer 500. I have purchased several "6mm" connectors from various Amazon vendors and they all arrived and looked very similar. All of the "6mm" connectors had a metal contact that measures 6mm OD and a yellow plastic tip that measures 6.3 or 6.4mm OD. I have NOT been successful in creating a good cable from any of them. All were poor connections (Think Blinking Lights). I was successful in obtaining a '6mm" cable that is used on the Jackery Explorer 160 and it works good. After measuring some connectors, here are my results: Uxcell : 6.0MM OD on barrel & 6.3MM OD on Yellow Plastic Tip, length of contact 10mm including Yellow Plastic Tip Jackery: 6.0MM OD on barrel & 6.3MM OD on expanded Metal Tip, length of contact 12mm including Expanded metal Tip Conclusion: The Jackery Explorer 500 requires the longer all metal barrel contact in order to give a good connection. 11-22-2020 Update: I have been testing & using the Jackery Explorer 500 for more than a year and I can report that it still works the same as it did the day that I purchased it and I am very pleased with my purchase. It has worked very well through several short power outages and I have purchased another E500 as well as a E1000, E300 and a E160. All of the newer Jackery purchases are working very well. With the new purchases, I can have one charging with the Solar panel and another to power my equipment at the same time. I have discovered that the DC power adaptor cable supplied with the Jackery Explorer 160 also works very well in my Explorer 500 and I have modified the cable by adding a Anderson Power Pole connector to this cable. I have also discovered that Goal Zero sells 6mm cables that you can modify for use in either the E500 or the E160. I am looking forward to purchasing A Jackery Explorer that will power my 1600 watt Microwave. Maybe early next year?

I've been a car camper most of my life. And, those adventures have usually taken me and friends off road so there's no convenient electricity to power all our devices. My first solution was to install a Marine Battery in the diamond plate tool box mounted on a cargo carrier inserted in the trailer hitch. This battery was recharged through wiring to the alternator. Worked beautifully, supplied all the power I needed, but I couldn't take it with me on the trail. Needing to upgrade my vehicle recently, I decided to see what was available for 'portable' power, for those trips away from my vehicle rather than install the Marine Battery again. It didn't take me long to discover the plethora of choices available in portable batteries made for all of us who enjoy the outdoors or need extra power on the patio while we're BBQing. I studied for some time as there were many features of these new battery packs that one must consider for their particular needs. I wanted a unit with the greatest capacity I could find that also could be recharged through some kind of solar system, as our group is usually 2-6 people, all with iPhones, iPads and cameras. The other purpose I had for the battery was to power a small 12V fan inside my vehicle to keep my doggies cool during the warmer weather. (Yes, the windows are also open). After reading lots of reviews, I chose the Jackery Explorer 500 and will be adding the companion Portable Solar System for next summer's hikes. So far the Explorer 500 has more than surpassed our hopes of a well performing and adequate power source. I've been using it with the grand kids devices on short trips and for the doggie fan and it has been excellent. We've taken it to our primitive cabin, which has no electricity yet, but has our solar panels installed, and the Explorer 500 took care of our device needs all weekend. We are extremely delighted with Jackery's Explorer 500 and feel we have yet to know it's true capacity! If you need a lot of power then the Jackery Explorer 500 is the Model to choose. If not, Jackery has two smaller capacity units that are sure to please. I understand that an Explorer 300 is coming out in March as well! Rugged, durable, great capacity and performance, reasonably priced, super customer service! What more could you ask for??? Enjoy Jackery! Bought this for use in a converted cargo van. Have already tested it with a 100w solar panel and it works well. Just be aware it does take long for this power station to charge. I tested it out for about 2 hours and it charged 20% so 10 hours to fully charge sounds accurate. It came at about 45% charged so I was able to right away try out charging my cell phone with the USB outputs. I finally installed my roof fan in my car and have already started using the Jackery to power it while I work on my van and it's been great. The fan doesn't take too much power and the Jackery hasn't dropped below 70% after 2 evenings of use. Even though I leave the fan plugged in, I do make sure to turn the power off when not in use to conserve energy. I also tested the regular plug to charge up a lime scooter, the output was about 85 watts so I could have charged up to 4 from a fully charged Power station. I just wanted to try it out compared to shore power and it actually charged the lime charger much faster! I was very impressed. I would need a fully charged station to charge four scooters at a time, each one seems to take about 25% power so it would need to be fully charged again after a night of charging up lime scooters. Because it is so light I already anticipate easily alternating between charging with solar panel, car battery and shore power. Long term I would like to buy an additional power station so I can bring one in with me to work or a coffee shop to charge while I have the other charging with solar and keeping things like a mini-fridge constantly powered. It seems like the most practical application of this product seeing as it can take a while to charge. I will be using this for urban van life so it's a perfect fit for me! Literally, a plug and play station, that saved me a world of headache and hassle that doing a DIY power station would have been. I am very happy with my purchase and will come back to update once I'm living full time in my van and depending much more on it.

We used this product as a power source for traveling across the country during the pandemic both ways. We also will use the Jackery 500 for camping ,going skiing and road trips. We are tired of not having sufficient power while camping and traveling mostly for running a refrigerator so we can ditch the pains of ice coolers. This unit ran the Wynter 65 refrigerator quite nicely. This is almost 2 cubic foot of fridge space and enough for two adults and two kids to go about 9 days without needing to go to the store. While traveling the AC outlet from the back of the truck charged the Jackery, but when we stopped for more than a couple days we would run the Jackery off the solar panel. The Jackery then used its output port to run the fridge. When the car shut off its charging to the Jackery the Jackery continued to power the fridge with its DC 12 volt output. Its an ideal set up. The Jackery does support pass thru charging, which means it can take a charge in while it outputs power out to a device like the fridge. its small, does not seem to get hot, easy to use and also has USB outputs to run laptops and tablets and head lamp charge needs. I highly recommend Jackery as a company. the warranty is solid and we even got an extra year by registering. I talked to Jackery personally and they are a great company to deal with, they are responsive, reactive and really work with the end user to solve their concern. Also, they are the kind of company that goes out of their way to make future upgrades as painless as possible, likely offering trade ins or deals on replacement units. I highly recommend registering your product and if you have any issues to contact them as they are an excellent company to deal with. The reason I am only giving 4 stars is that more than a few times now (I believe 4 or 5 now) I have had the Jackery shut off its output for no reason. This was caught within several hours and the unit restarted so the refrigerator does not start to get warm. I read around and tried to find out if there is a reason the Jackery should do this if no power is demanded for some time or any other reason and it was unclear if the Jackery should ever turn its output off. IMO as an engineer... unless the unit is going to catch fire or to save the batteries from damage, software inside it should absolutely never turn off the output for really any reason, ever. it was also almost impossible to get Jackery to give me the part number for the auxillary output DC plug. they don't sell just a connector or a connector on bare wires so you can manually hook up yourself. They were awesome and they gave me an adapter for free, but it really wasn't what I wanted which was the specs for the DC output connector so I could buy a few aftermarket ones. Same goes for the DC input connector. They gave me one to a cigarette lighter but would not give me the actual dimensions and part number so I could get my own and build what I needed.

I was a bit embarrassed to be excited about ordering a portable charger; however, early COVID scare, a two-day power outage, and a long-overdue weekend Harley trip converged to make me: (1) order both the Jackery 500 model and the larger 1000 unit, and (2) to rethink mobile power in my home entirely. These units are game changers. I haven't touched either for over three weeks and they maintain 100% charge. I keep the smaller unit in my Harley saddle bag with a trickle charger and small tire inflator. Yes: I still have vehicles without their own wi-fi, built in power stations, etc. - and I won't be upgrading. I will need this type of power capability forever. QUALITY: In this review, I will answer for both units (500 and the 1000): I gave all fives for overall, portability, stretch, and weight. These are not "feather light"- they are light for WHAT THEY ARE. They are durable, sturdy for providing hours to days of predictable power for computer, phones, fans, etc. If stretch refers to power length, I have not been a "super power user" (e.g., running refrigerators, etc.) but I use these for "critical communications" (Computer, internet, phones, etc. for several days of selective charging). Many other reviews are excellent for detailing the actual power usage, charge time, etc. NOTE: I purchased the Jackery brand in part based on their service reputation; I found that this company is extremely engaged with customers, responds to queries immediately and solves problems. I lost a charger day 2 (confused it with an old computer charger and tossed it); Jackery replaced it for me within days and followed up to make sure all was working. Stellar customer service. On a personal note, my wife likes an attractive home, yard, garage, and camping trailer: these units are BEAUTIFUL. Small touches. Well laid out panels. Simple delivery of that essential power that got us on the road again with confidence. I am buying smaller units for each of the kids and their families for our camping, outdoor events. My BEST purchase of the last year or two, hands down.

I bought the Jackery 500 in June 2020 and have used it on several camping trips and around the house and can say so far it has been one of my useful pieces of camping equipment. For transparency sake, Jackery has asked me to review my purchase in exchange for a pocket battery. I seldom write a review unless I believe it is a top notch product/service or absolutely dismal results. I was in the market for a portable power generator for a while. I had used a rechargeable pocket battery on previous camping trips to recharge my phone and tablet and found having a power source extremely useful. I was looking to purchase a portable camping frig and needed a power source if I was off the grid for several days. Truthfully, I was leaning towards a major competitor as it seems like the competitor had more market penetration. Both had similar power storage and weight but I kept reading reviews that the competitor had problems powering a frig via 12V DC connection where it was not a problem for the Jackery. The Jackery was also cheaper per Wh. At this point, I decided the Jackery was my lead candidate but I then looked at the 240 and 1000 versions. Obviously, I needed more power than the 240 and it always seems that more power the better - so the 1000 looked like a good choice except the overall price was high for my wallet and the weight was 22 lbs vs 13 lbs (I like portability). So I had to go back to the main reason for a power generator - power a frig and misc personal electronics. I did not need to power microwave or power tools. Plus the 1000 was brand new and the 500 w had been on the market for a while and I assume the kinks have been worked out. I was now back to the 500 model as my top choice. It gave me the power that I needed with the portability I wanted - my reason to call it the Goldilocks of Power. An additional plus was that it was shipped for free where as many of my other camping equipment came with a shipping charge. The portable camping frig (Dometic) that I have has the capability to freeze water when in refrigerator mode. With the ice mode on, the Jackery will last for about 10 hrs but 98% of my frig needs is not needing ice and the Jackery last for about 45 hrs in normal frig mode - far exceeding my expectation. If I ever lose power in the house in the winter, I wanted to make sure that I have power to run my wood pellet stove to keep warm and the Jackery was able to handle the surge demands of my pellet stove (I did not test to see how long it would last as it was in the middle of June). Since then I have added a 100w solar panel to my truck to connect to the Jackery. It does not have MPPT solar controller to charge faster but I usually drive for hours between campsites and this has not been an issue. One never gets the theoretical 100W input charge and the best that I have gotten is about 68W. So far in my camping trips, I always have power and have an easy way to charge the Jackery. In remote back road camping, I have a fear of the truck battery dying in the middle of nowhere. I was going to buy car charging battery but I had found that Jackery sells car charging cable. It will not jump start a dead battery but the literature says it should charge the battery in 30-60 min. This gives me a peace of mind plus avoids buying another power system. Currently, the Jackery sits in my home office where I plug in the phone and tablets (draws 10-15 watts) and when I drive the truck, I take the Jackery and plug it in the solar panel. Again the weight and portability is just right for me. For me, the 500 answers all my immediate needs - not too small (not enough power) and not too big (more $). Great for my camping power needs plus the security to charge the truck battery if needed. At home, it can be a good back up to power the pellet stove and for daily use of my phone etc while light enough to easily plug into the solar panel. Be realistic in what you need a power generator for - and then the size that you need will be obvious.

A group of us guys wanted to get the perfect gift for our camping and outdoor enthusiast friend and we landed on this for a multitude of reasons. First off, the build and quality feels very commercial grade and able to withstand some good usage. The design is rugged yet aesthetically looks modern and contemporary but clearly it means business given how many multiple output and charging options it has. The backlit screen is clear and shows all essential information such as charge and discharge rates, battery state of charge and etc. Check out the video for the unit walk around and how it looks up close. Given what it can handle, it's still incredibly portable (very solid weight to power ratio) and easy to move around with no nonsense exterior bits to break off or anything protruding. One of the main reasons we sprung for this is its ability to be paired with a solar panel to charge it in that way - this is an option that is only available on higher end units. For those who are true camping off the grid for an extended period of time this is essential and lets you not have to draw from your vehicles power. The solar charging, as expected, is the longest method in charging which brings me to the next point - it's ability for pass through charging which renders that not as significant. I didn't find that stated as much until I found out, but it's a feature that not every unit has but one that's very important. You needn't have it at full charge or off charge to be able to use it because you can power devices while that's happening. Basically you can be charging the power station with a solar panel and at the same be charging all your other goods - it's a bigger deal than one would think. Pro tip: you'll get fantastic performance through the 12v port so if you have the option to, get items that use that as its source. The reason for this is that the 12v port has a boost regulator, which means that no matter what state the batter is in (even if it's low) it'll still output the same power no matter what which is something many solar generators does not do. The usefulness of something of this grade is pretty endless. My partner got it confused with looked to be a similar product at costco but if you know your stuff, the specs are exponentially different - the 500 watts is continuous power (with a 1000 peak) so it can pretty much power any steady device. Aside from the most obvious of devices you'd want to power (laptop, phones, tablets, etc), the list just goes on - electric blankets, specific fridges, tool batteries, fans, grills, tvs, video consoles, small blenders, pumps, small heaters an even a cpap machine and a e scooter! In operation it's quiet with barely a hum and using the volt adapter will turn on the cooling fan. Even more hard to please electronics we've randomly plugged in have been fine, and we'll test in the future with an oscillator and update. Aside from camping use, he'll be bringing this to the burning man festival to use full time in his adventure roadtrip van so that's quite a bonus. He can now ditch having to lug around liters of gas or a big watt inverter generator making the entire experience that much more eco conscious not to mention lightening the load. Additionally, while it's great for the big events, this is going to get a lot of use for a wide range of regular every day events such as tailgate partys, roadtrip and just general outdoor excursions. It's even great to have around for emergency purposes. We have a very satisfied recipient and we're glad such a product exists - highly recommend!

Pour la conserver en bon état longtemps, j'ai appris qu'elle doit être à l'ombre (jamais au soleil), qu'elle doit toujours être chargée à 20% minimum, qu'elle doit être dans un endroit qui a une température de moins de 50 degrés Celsius (122 degrés Fahrenheit). Ce qui veut dire qu'en camping, lorsque je la recharge avec un panneau solaire que je place en plein soleil, je dois mettre la Jackery à l'ombre. Je croyais pouvoir utiliser 100% de la batterie mais je dois me contenter de 80%. Et... de toujours stationner mon véhicule à l'ombre car celui-ci devient un véritable four lorsqu'il est au soleil ce qui est très mauvais pour la Jackery qui est rangée dans le véhicule... Ah oui, même connectée à une prise régulière dans la maison, le Input n'est pas à 100%. Alors on ne doit pas s'attendre à du 100% avec le panneau solaire. C'est normal. C'est une batterie. Une bien bonne batterie efficace au ventilateur silencieux. Attention de bien évaluer vos besoins en Watts. Nous avons acheté celle de 500 Watts car tous nos appareils sont moins que 500 Watts mais plus que 240 Watts. Pour être franc, une 1000 Watts aurait mieux comblé nos besoins mais nous la trouvions trop grosse et trop lourde. Si nous avions acheté la 1000 Watts, nous n'aurions pas à la recharger aussi souvent que la 500 Watts. Par exemple, notre petit réfrigérateur vide notre Jackery 500 en deux jours. Si nous avions acheté la Jackery 1000, cela aurait pris quatre jours. D'un autre côté, notre Jackery 500 se recharge plus rapidement que la 1000. Peut-être qu'il nous faut deux Jackery 500? This portable power station is amazingly light for a unit that can supply so much power. Build quality is good and it feels very sturdy. Not worried about carrying it around outdoors or dinging it. So glad that this unit uses lithium batteries instead of traditional lead acid, which are so heavy. The multiple USB charging ports, 12 volt output and AC inverter is very convenient and pretty much covers all my needs. The pure sine wave AC inverter works great for all my electronics and was able to power my old 20 inch TV without any issues. The 12 volt port is great for running my air compressor to pump my bike tires, car tires and my portable cooler when im on the road. The power adapter for charging this unit worked great and im glad there is a DC input port to allow me to connect my mini solar panel for a longer term off grid solution. The built in light is not to bright but I can just connect a larger light through the 12 volt port. Will definitely be bringing this power station o my next camping trip. Very impressed with the power station so far and would recommend it.

I brought the Jackery 500 with me to a week-long music festival, and it ended up being one of the best things I packed. The capacity was more than enough to keep all my portables (phone, speaker, lights, etc.) charged for the whole week without running out. The built-in light was surprisingly handy too—it lit up my camp when I needed it and saved me from fumbling for a flashlight. Another big plus was how quickly it charged my Samsung—way faster than I expected from a power station. The only downsides for me are that it only comes with one AC outlet, and there aren’t any USB-C ports, which feels a bit limiting given how many devices use USB-C now. Not dealbreakers, but definitely something I hope Jackery updates in future versions. Overall, though, I’m really happy with it. Reliable, durable, and a lifesaver when you’re off-grid for days.
