These are plastic not wax, but what I really like about them is the flame moves like brands that are much more expensive. With them being plastic there is no worry about them melting. You can not go wrong with the price. Nice lightweight candles that have a nice brightness to them & size is perfect. I love the beige color.

This candle was recommended from an Insider on Instagram. Packaged well. The only thing I can say that’s a negative are the batteries are a little hard to get inserted, it requires 4 batteries, 2 batteries sit on top of each other, a little difficult but once we got that down it worked perfectly. The flicker of the candle works great, love it, it looks quite real!

I am very impressed with this battery operated flameless candle. It is remarkably lifelike. The effect is caused, at least in part, because the bulb is attached to a base that wobbles, and this creates a flickering effect. It also creates the one issue I have. Sometimes it makes an intermittent bumping noise when the bulb bumps into the side of it's fixture as it wobbles. It's not loud, it wouldn't wake you, but I noticed it and it took me a while to figure out that it was coming from the candle. I did not purchase the optional remote, but the candle has a feature where you can either turn it on and off manually, or set it to "timer" and it will turn on at the same time each day and run for six hours. I've been using rechargeable AAA batteries and it works great. I'm still on the same set using it for 6 hours/day for a week so far. It does not get hot if you were wondering about that.

Very nice set, the candles look real when they flicker. They actually put off a nice amount of light. The candle’s are a great price for what you get.

I got this for my toddler to use as a night light. It's unconventional probably, but my kid is like a tiny serious adult. She loves rules and would never toddler up anything. It sits flickering on her dresser at night, and she watches it dance until she falls asleep. The battery lasts a long time and the light is very natural looking. The candle is actually wax around the electric stuff, and ours dented a bit when it dropped on the floor. The timer doesn't work unless you have the remote, and this one doesn't come with the remote. It's comparable to the BH&G flameless candle (which I also have) except that the BH&G timer works without needing a remote. My husband mixes the 2 that we have up and then gets mad when the cheap Chinese one doesn't turn off. Can barely tell the difference between them.

Absolute junk! Bought these candles which don't come with a remote. So, you have to buy the remote separately. Candles will turn on by the switch, but remotes don't work (package comes with 3 remotes). I got the remotes because that's the only way to set the timer for 2, 4, or 6 hours. Could be the candles, could be the remotes. Doesn't matter, I will be returning both candles and remotes and getting candles that come with remotes.

The candle is great. The space for the 4 batteries is tight and it was hard to get them inserted properly. I had to tap on them a bit and the springs were in the way. Just not a good design.
