Essential
This is an amazing addition to a kit. I've added two of these pressure bandages to a basic trauma/odk along with Celox, Swat-t tourniquet, trauma shears/rescue hook, medical gloves, gauze, tape, etc. It is cheap enough that you can get one to open and practice with--don't worry about the wrinkly picture instructions on the package, it is vac-sealed so when you open it, you can easily flatten it out then for easy looking at. Also, don't freak out if you buy from Shy in Israel here and Amazon tells you its going to take forty or more days to get to the US. It takes about two weeks, he's awesome. Also, it has a massively long expiration date--no, it doesn't need one but you know government red tape, so as long as it remains vac-sealed, it will be fine. No, it doesn't have Celox or other clotting solution in it--that would give it an expiration date of about three years only--so if you want a clotting agent, get one to go with it. I recommend Celox because it doesn't have the negative effects of Quik Clot. These bandages are light, fit into kits easily, are waterproof, last hugely long, and give you the chance to save a life. And they are cheap. Awesome.Put these in your car kit, your main house kit, with your BOB, your commuter/workplace kit, and in your outdoor fun stuff (hunting, backpacking, you name it). Heck, put it in your animal/animals' kits. Be really responsible and do up a trauma kit to go with it. With long emergency response times, city budget cuts, personnel shortages, and the increase of violent people out there, being ready to take care of yourself or someone else could mean everything. So, in a nutshell, this is an essential part of your kits.

High quality and worth the money, proven in actual use
Actually had to use this on a recent camping trip due to a 3 inch deep puncture on patients thigh. It did a very good job of controlling bleeding and a nice wide surface area on the bandage to distribute the pressure and not constrict any tissue. Emergency room technicians were very impressed with the performance of the bandage and that we had the wherewithal to properly implement in such a remote location. The doctor who treated the wound attributed the bandage and its proper use to the expected positive outcome of the injury. This was confirmed weeks later when stitches were removed and again the attending physician attributed the successful healing and minimal scarring to the same. These bandages are not cheap but this is one area you do not want to skimp on when a situation arises where this type of bandage is needed. Very highly recommend this product. We now keep several of these in various places just in case. Better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it.

A must have for the family medic kit.
This is the last component that I've included in the family medic bag that we will start carrying with us on outings and especially camping trips. Designed for the battlefield, these are great bandages that can be quickly applied to a serious wound to apply pressure and help stop bleeding until further medical assistance can be reached. The bandage was designed so you don't need any safety pins, metal clasps, or even medical tape to secure it in place. Everything you need to keep the bandage on the wound and apply pressure is incorporated right into the bandage itself. Upon receiving it, my wife and I found some very helpful instructional videos online that help you understand how to apply the bandage correctly. Instructions are also printed on the packaging, but I recommend searching out the videos online because they really give you a clear picture on how to use these correctly. This is a great item to have in your kit and I highly recommend.

Solid product , After you win it's time to survive.
the only time I've actually had use with this product was in the military. I am now a retired veteran and have bought 2 of these without the need to use yet and hopefully ever. Which mean as far as the product inside this current pack is unknown until use in order to keep it at a sterile state. The packaging is excellent, it is vacuum tight and has an easy rip open 1-6 instruction steps for those not familiar. These wraps are crucial for certain wounds that can occur. If you are a gun enthusiast you should have one (w/ quick clot) if you hunt, and for ease of mind. If your family or friend is seriously bleeding out and no ambulance has ever been known to get to your location in less than 2 minutes you'd be doing better calling a priest. But with this compression wrap and some quick clot gauze you will increase your odds tremendously. Well that my soap box and I'm sure you can agree if you or your families life was on the line I'm sure you could mustard up $$$ to get some of the simple gear.

Hoped I would never need this, ended up saving my dogs life.
I bought this bandage in 2016 while working in my former capacity in law enforcement to keep in my cars medical kit. It’s now 2024 and I thank god I bought it all those years ago. My dog fell down a set of stairs and ended up with a deep puncture wound in her jaw and neck. I was able to use this successfully for bleed control and to stabilize the packing material I stuffed into the wound. The packaging kept it fresh and dry after all these years and the fabric was unaffected by the 8 years of sitting idle. This bandage saved my dog, and I plan to buy a replacement.
