GiGi Espresso All Purpose Honee Soft Wax for Hair Removal with Antioxidant for Face & Body, Removes Coarse and Fine Hair, 14 oz

This product is a SOFT WAX. Not a sugar wax, nor a hard wax. That being said it needs strips to use it and of course you can’t remove the residue with water/soap/anything else but OIL. I wanted to clarify this, because I’ve read many reviews that said the wax was no good cause it was sticky and they couldn’t remove the residue with water. Of course it’s sticky and of course you can’t remove it with water, that doesn’t mean that the wax is bad. So, the actual product is amazing. It came in a sealed package, very neat and clean. It has a fantastic coffee scent. I warmed it up in my wax warmer on high for 15 mins and maintained the temp on medium. During my waxing, i raised the temp on high again, cause i like my wax to be runny and warm. I used it to wax my face and we all know how sensitive face skin is. Usually i get very red and the following days i break out a little. I have to say that the redness subdued almost immediately and i see no break outs yet. Hopefully i’ll see none. I used the Gigi strips as well and for aftercare i applied some jojoba oil. It grabbed every little hair i have, even the very small coarse ones, that usually are very hard to remove. I am very pleased with it and i’m planing on doing my brazilian as well. Definitely will buy it again.

Long time Gigi Honee Wax buyer here, the honee itself was irritating my skin terribly! And made a terribly terribly sticky mess. I decided to the espresso one Smells so strong left my skin feeling soft. —Update: this one is sticky too, hard to get off,still seems to work better for my skin compared to the honee one. I’ve burned my self😛

the wax that i've been using before i found this product was gigi all purpose honee, but it didn't quite do the job for me (way too sticky, thick and lacking in effectiveness) so i looked up other gigi brands and stumbled upon this baby (yay!) never have to look for another wax again because this works very well for me! areas of application: eyebrows, upper lip and legs. pros: -the smell of espresso lights up my room when i heat it up. -the wax is a dark chocolate brown color which may be intimidating for some, but it doesn't leave any residue or staining on your skin so it's not a big deal. -consistency is perfect..not too sticky or thick on the skin (depends on your application) -goes a long way -works great on fine/thick hair -no signs of redness, bumps or irritation before and after waxing -soft on the skin..has never taken off any layer of skin or left burns after use -wax in the comfort of your own home -cheap cons: - i use this with the gigi warmer.. it does take a while for it to completely melt on the highest setting (~30 minutes). -very messy if you spill it (must clean up asap- i use baby oil)

Let me start off by saying... My seller was awesome (Perfect Nail Store). Usually when I make a mistake, the seller takes advantage of that and makes my life miserable. I accidently ordered two wax pots when I meant to order one. I emailed them as soon as I saw my mistake, and they fixed it immediately. About the wax... It smells like fresh coffee. I used it for the first time on my legs, and it worked perfectly. It is very sticky as other have said, but isn't that what you want from your wax? It worked great on my face as well. No scorching, minimal redness. The only time I had a problem with the wax, it was my own fault. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this wax, and I don't see a reason to ever order another kind again except for a change of fragrance. I highly recommend this product.

I've been a Gigi product user for 2 years now but mostly have been using the Brazilian hard wax for bikini, face and underarms. I would say other than the initial learning curve, I've been able to consistently get really good results. I decided to experiment with a new wax mostly for the espresso smell, and to try another one of Gigi's waxes that might be more suitable for the face. Upon opening the box, some of the wax had spilled out from under the plastic cover and was stuck under the safety seal. The wax is VERY sticky to the touch and doesn't harden into a solid when cool like the Brazilian hard wax does so it was a total mess to put in the warmer, but it was a sacrifice I was willing to make for the sweet smell of espresso. When I first started waxing with this wax, some of the hairs didn't even get pulled out. I went over the same area twice (not supposed to, I know) and almost zero hairs were removed. On top of that, the wax is very sticky and left residue ALL OVER my face. It was so frustrating using this wax that I ended up ordering my trusty Brazilian hard wax on Amazon while I was still waxing with this espresso wax and throwing it away after one use though it could have lasted many more. This wax just didn't do the job at all.

It works very good on the skin and make it look so clean. Love the smell of it. Best part about this wax is it pulls out baby hair from the roots very neatly. And worst part of this wax is cleaning it after done using it. It's so sticky. Should get a hand of it and now I got it. So just be little neat when using, so u have very little to clean later. I recommend it using.
