Vekkia Lightweight Neck Reading Light - 3 Colors, 9 Brightness

It's perfect. Very bendable. Each end has its own power button so it has essentially 6 different levels of brightness, 3 levels on each end. Perfect for reading and everyday use. I loved it so much that I bought one for a friend as well. Holds charge for a long time and is quick to recharge. Great product!

This light is great for crocheting in the evening! I have excellent vision but I like to crochet while watching tv in the evening, when we keep the overhead lights in the room on dim. That’s fine for watching tv but not for close up multitasking. These light give just the right amount of brightness & sharpness for me to see my work very clearly, without distracting anyone next to me & it helps avoid a lot of eye strain. It feel like good build quality, like something you would get in a Sharper Image catalog. It really doesn’t feel cheap, like I was expecting. That impressed me. Also, I haven’t noticed that it gets warm, even after 3 hours of usage. It stays cool to the touch. I like that you can adjust the angle of both sides the way you need it and it’s long enough that it clears my umm, chest. The lights on each side work independently, which I though would be important, but it’s not really. I find that I prefer to keep them both on the same setting & on high. The low and medium are accurate brightness too, neither is too dim or too bright. The battery seems to last roughly 10 hours. I recharge them every 3-4 days and it works with any properly sized charger cable, not just the one that came with it. Its quite comfortable & lightweight to wear, the battery part is smooth against the back of my neck. I forget it’s there after a minute. My only minor negative, if you can even call it that, is that I don’t notice all 9 light settings. To me, it looks like 3: low, medium, high. I’m particular about color values and generally prefer neutral white light for task lighting so the differences must be pretty subtle if I don’t notice it. Since the left and right work independently, I’ve even tried to compare them against each other and I’m not noticing a color difference as I click thru the settings, just the difference in brightness. But it’s not a big deal, I’m very happy with the color. Its perfect. This light, in my opinion, was a very good buy, especially for the price. It was an impulse buy but it’s definitely been very useful and I’m sure it’s better for my eyes in the long run.

This is the latest addition to my "where has this been all my life?" list of Amazon must-buys! As an avid reader and newbie crochet addict whose eyesight isn't what it used to be, I've been looking for a lighting solution to help me read and work at home and while traveling. After trying nearly every solution out there — including portable floor and desk lamps, clip-on book lights, headlamps, lighted readers, etc. — I decided to try these after seeing them demonstrated in an online crochet tutorial video and couldn't be happier with them. When the box arrived I was sure there had been some mistake, as it seemed impossibly small and light. But these really do fold up into a small form factor for storage or traveling, and they're so light that I sometimes forget I'm wearing them if they're not turned on. The adjustable brightness levels and color temperatures work perfectly, and I like the fact that each light can be turned on independently if needed (saves battery life too.) Charge seems to last for days, too.

Currently, I'm finishing some knitting projects for Christmas gifts. No spring chicken anymore, my eyes have difficulty with dark colors in not-so-bright light. These work great. The battery lasts at its brightest long enough for a sizable section to be done. Once it starts to dim, I know it's time to take a break before the arthritis sets in causing problems. I like that the lights have additional settings and can be aimed & adjusted in which ever direction you need: drape them around your neck, adjust and start in. I haven't tried them yet with crocheting and/or embroidery. They're upcoming projects - but they work great knitting black, navy and earth tones. Don't need them as much on pastels, Using fine double-point or circular needles the light is exactly where you need the extra boost. Only one small complaint - I wish they could be about 4" longer from tip to tip. Typical Grandma - I have a slightly larger 'front shelf' than some. It blocks the light when it slips. OOPS!

Very nice. Lightweight but lights are very bright if needed. Multiple modes are great.

The first one I got died after a 1 day, just sitting without use and I was really upset. Returned it. Was worried this was a product issue but the replacement is fabulous. It lasts for almost an entire day of knitting, and keeps a charge between uses. So if you aren't happy, exchange it. A working one really does work wonderfully. I find it comfortable, easy to adjust where the light is pointing to. Easy to adjust the color tone and brightness. It's intuitive. It doesn't turn on by accident in my project bag, though I do also make sure the buttons are always on the inside of the u shape. I am very careful to charge it per the instructions. Only using a wall charger and unplugging it when it's full. But part of that is having gotten a bad one, I don't want to damage it and cause issues. I don't know if it's really as delicate for charging as I treat it. I love it so much it's worth the care though.

Very easy to use. Adjustable low/medium/high light beams. Makes a great gift.

This is good product. I've been using this light for a few years now. I love the fact that it is rechargeable, has 3 different levels of brightness, 3 different colors of lights and adjustable. I only use this occasionally in the morning. So I cant really say how long a charge lasts. I probably only charge it every 5 months or so. The best thing about it is that It will stay charged when not in use.

Used it only few days. The packing was good. The light is good for reading at night without disturbing others. Cable is quite manoeuvrable. Product is sturdy. Hopefully it will last.

Can be quite uncomfortable to wear at times. 😕 Still prefer a rechargeable clip book light.

Bought this product as a gift but when tried using it, the product was not working at all. Tried charging it for 3 hours and still its not working. Not able to return the product as well. And couldn't contact the seller about the defect. Won't recommend anyone buying this.
