First time buying a tent and first time using one since I was a kid. Great price, great quality and easy to pitch tent that comes with everything needed to pitch so there are no additional purchases needed other than a single trekking pole. Practiced setting up the tent at a local park before going backpacking last weekend and it took all of 10 minutes to set up both times(after watching a few videos on YouTube beforehand). Tent, stakes and guy lines are all good quality, and the lines as well as connection points are reflective making after-dark pitching simple if you have a small/low light source to work with. Tent is lightweight and takes up a small amount of space in my hiking bag. Tent comes with everything necessary to pitch as well as a small patch kit, stake bag and tent bag, and the tent is easy to stow in the bag. There are small hooks/loops to retain the doors when you roll them up so that they don't just dangle or blow in the wind. There is also a small hook that hangs inside just above the front access point which is convenient for hanging a light. Tent has great seals all around including at the zippers so bug intrusion was not an issue, and I had no condensation upon waking after the first night of use(high elevation, 60 degree overnight temps in dry Rocky Mountain climate). I'm 5'6" and had plenty of room in the tent with an inflatable mattress, sleeping bag and all of my gear inside including my 55/L hiking bag, didn't even need to use the two additional guy lines that create head and foot space so I could have made the interior more spacious if I had wanted to. This tent is best suited for anyone 6'0" or under. Tent is definitely for 1-person only due to narrow width. Best bang-for-the-buck backpacking tent out there IMO in regard to quality vs cost, would definitely buy again.

Overall, I think this is a good, budget friendly, lightweight, backpacking tent. I am, however, disappointed in a couple of components that seem to have been altered/changed, based on what I’ve seen in all online video reviews I’ve watched. The line lock tensioners of the guy lines have been changed to an in-line style instead of those attached directly to the loops on the tent. I find this particular in-line style to be more of a pain to adjust the tension as it requires two hands instead of just one. The other change, which makes the tent more cumbersome to pitch, is the lines on the four corners of the inner tent floor body. Instead of utilizing bungee cord, the tent now simply has thin static string (same cordage as the guy lines). This inhibits being able to easily attach the outer tent fly to the tent pegs first, then later attaching the inner tent floor lines to the tent pegs. I also found the thin static cord to be too short to effectively provide a proper pitch (the outer tent ends up being tensioned all the way to the tent stakes, matching the inner tent attachment lines, thus being too close to the ground to provide proper ventilation flow from underneath). I see that lower down in the listing, the seller touts the change to static lines as “an improvement” but I see it as a downgrade (and probably a cost cutting measure). Although I have now since swapped out the thin static lines of the inner tent corners to some bungee line that I bought, I was disappointed that the tent did not arrive that way. Finally, I find it great that both the fly and inner mesh tent components can easily be set up independently. Just adding two guy lines attached to the top corner rings to then stake out the trekking poles is all that’s needed extra for the independent inner mesh setup. In the end, I still think this is a great tent (provided there’s some additional seam sealing). After a test night of hard thunderstorms, there was some water puddling inside (see photos). Some of it could have been blown inside from underneath the vestibules (as splash up), but I’ll be seam sealing the areas I think are more vulnerable to leaks.

Love this tent! So light! Traversed the Tetons last year, backcountry Yellowstone trip this year. A true 2 person tent with room at your feet and a vestibule for each person. Great value! Went through several storms with no sealing beforehand and had no problems.

Good tent for the price. I spent a week in it this fall elk hunting. Packs down small, and I can cut sticks for tent poles instead of packing poles. It is kind of a pain to get back in the bag, but most tents are. It sets up in about 5 minutes and comes down fast too. Perfect Size for one person and gear. Too small for two. I treated all the seams with seam-sealer before taking it out. Held up in 30mph winds and pouring rain. It stayed out and stayed dry. I set big rocks in front of the stakes so they wouldn’t pull out in the wind. Overall I’m pretty happy with it.

UPADATED AGAIN: I have purchased both the 1 and 2 person tent. Seems like very well quality and lightweight. However, the ONE thing that is bad about BOTH tents is the way the end tie outs are sewn and sealed. The tents BOTH leak at the tie out points. This is due to the way they are sealed. It seams as if the seam seal was applied FIRST and then the tie outs sewn into the fabric. This allows water to come through the stitching and leak into the tent. POOR DESIGN. I have remedied this by using seam sealant on ALL stitch points for the tie outs. So, word of caution for everyone owning and buying these tents. MAKE SURE YOU SEAM SEAL EVERY TIE OUT POINT. Once you do that, this tent should be waterproof. UPDATE: I set this tent up in my yard to test it for waterproof and durability. We had a rain event that came through. No heavy storms. Just light to medium rain that only lasted 10 or 15 minutes. The tent leaked at both ends where the tie outs are sewn into the fabric. These points are seam sealed, so I do not know why or how it leaked at both points. The water on the floor of the tent was about the size of a quarter. I have since sprayed all of the fly seams and the tie out points with silicone treatment. When we get another rain storm coming through, I will set it up again for another test to see if the spray will keep the tie out points from leaking. Also, both sides and the rear of the fly, down at the edge, collect water and allow it to pool up. This is a design flaw. I had the tent as tight as I could get it, without damaging the material. The water pooled up around the bottom edge looked like a small moat, and could lead to large amounts of water to run under the tent. This could soak through the floor and get your sleeping gear wet. I fixed this issue with some micro tarp clamps and 550 cord. I attached one at each end, and two in the rear, one on each side between the rear stake out point and each corner. So 4 total. When I set the tent up again for another rain test, I will update with pictures. So far, this tent was NOT the tent that all the hype was about. The ONLY positive thing so far, is that it is a true double wall tent, and that will keep condensation out of the sleeping area. I have not used this tent yet, only set it up. However, with just having set it up, I can see that I will probably like this tent. But, one thing I would like to have seen with it, is more fabric at the vestibule. When set up by the directions, the edge of the vestibule is quite high off of the ground. This would allow for good ventilation during a summer night, but in a rain storm, I would be afraid of rain being blown in. I have it set up in the yard, and we have a chance of rain today/tonight, so once I let it get rained on and take it out on a trip, I will update my review.

I LOVE this tent. So lightweight and packs down so small. My first trekking pole tent, it took some practicing in the backyard before taking it on trail but now I can set it up quickly and easily. I cannot recommend this tent enough, it has it all. I will say, it isn’t big enough for two people in my opinion. It is great for my extra wide sleeping pad with some room on each side, or I push to the side and my dog can join. But I can sit straight up without my head touching, which I love!

I assume anyone buying this tent doesn't already have an ultralight tent. It's cheap and it works. Things to know are that the set up instructions aren't super clear. I thought it did but include enough stakes, but I think it's meant to use the same stake for each corner of the tent AND the rain fly, not a separate stake for each. It would be a very tight fit for two people and is better for one person and their gear. The rain fly is elevated off the ground and away from the tent, so it does not provide any heat retention at all, which even well ventilated three season tents do a little. Used it two nights in good weather. Seems like it would shed water, but didn't get to test that out. Seems like it would hold up to fair wind as long as there is good ground to place the stakes, but didn't test that out. Really hard to roll up and put away. The fabric is extremely slick, much slicker than a regular tent. I had to remove the fly from the tent (it comes connected) to be able to roll each separately and put in the sack. I'm a little worried it will take a while to figure out how to connect the two when I use it next. I'd worry about using it in rough ground without a footprint as the material is very lightweight. But, I'm overall happy with the purchase.

You get what you pay for usually, but this may be an exception to the rule. I got this to replace my 7lb 2person tent for some upcoming backpack trips, but likely will not use this for car camping. I am 5'10" 175lb, 35yo male, 25 inch wide pad. This 2 person tent is really a 1+ person tent, I can fit my dog and my pack inside but no more. I am very pleased with the quality and fit of this tent for the price, my other choice was $319. This is my first trekking pole tent and i pitched it in about 5 minutes in 15mph winds at home and the wind was non existent inside the tent. I might take a nap in it this afternoon if the clouds roll in.

The first test was in a thunderstorm with heavy rain. ( OFC I had a secondary shelter and my car pretty close. ) Used it by two person. I have to add, it worked and can be a shelter for 2 but ideal for one plus gear. 100% water proof. The wind is nothing to this tent. 2 small issues. The closing zips of the rainfall from inside are hard to reach and those plastic hooks at their end tried my patience. Told to be 3 season. In the UK I would go with it anywhere in any season if I have a reasonable sleeping gear. In 8 degrees , heavy rain and 40mph wind I was pretty good with a 3 season sleeping bag and a £6 inflatable mat. I did not need my coat and could not wear my sweatshirt and pants ans socks due to the weather. They were on me when I piched in the rain. All wet. Still I had a cosy warm night without any fear. I heard the noise of the wind... like a bullettrain... the constant showers but the tent did not move, did not leak. I had a pretty good night.

SCAM ! The tent is sold WITHOUT any poles. that's why it is so light. Its not explicitly written anywhere in the description that poles are not included.

Least expensive trekking pole tent I could find.Room for two close friends or husband and wife. Will fit 2 20" square pads or 2 25" mummy pads. Nice and lite I reccomend.
