Bought this toy for my doodle puppy as most balls are too big for her to fetch. This one is perfect! The ball is tiny/perfect and she loves chewing on the strap. Ball and strap are very durable; she’s trying to destroy it but has been unsuccessful thus far. She has too many toys to choose from but this toy is her favorite by far. Bought another one in case this gets hijacked at the dog park

If my dog could write reviews, this one would just say: ‘BUY THIS AGAIN. AND AGAIN. AND AGAIN.’ And don’t worry. We will. The Chuckit! Tug Dog Toy has officially become the MVP of the toy basket. My dog is high-drive, full of energy, and treats most stuffed toys like a competitive speed-shredding event (average survival time: 5–10 minutes, bless their fluffy little hearts). So the fact that this tug toy has survived several weeks is nothing short of miraculous. It’s a fantastic way to burn off some energy and gives my dog a job to do besides redecorating the house with stuffing. This durability is also why I keep buying the Chuckit! Apparently Chuckit understands dogs with… enthusiasm. My only critique is the handle. If you have a dog that pulls like they’re training for the canine Olympics, the handle can start to wear on your hand after a while. A little padding at the end would be a nice upgrade. I’d also vote for a slightly longer handle for those with dogs who may occasionally forget that fingers are not part of the toy. Thankfully, my dog has excellent self-restraint and hasn’t chomped me yet, but some extra distance between my hand and the action wouldn’t hurt. Overall: tough toy, great energy burner, and currently the undisputed champion of our living room. My dog gives it 10/10. My arm and hand give it 8/10.

My dog LOVES these balls. The ball itself is very durable. Unfortunately my dog does not like to get his balls taken from him while we play fetch so I thought this would be the solution but he just ripped the handle off. I’m sure it is great for dogs who do like to play fetch and don’t mind giving up their ball but it didn’t work out for us.

My blue heeler loves this! She has alot of Energy and this is so easy when I play get by with her. Easy to throw further bc of the handle. Easy for her to grab and bring back.

My dog is an aggressive chewer. I can’t leave him unsupervised with regular rope or fabric toys because he will end up eating the fabric. This toy is the only one I’ve gotten him so far that had held up well! I’m comfortable enough to leave it out when I’m out of the house for a short period of time. It’s super durable and he loves to chase it when we play :)

If ball is life for your pup this is a great option! Our 70lb mutt is obsessed. We got her the large size for reference. She is not a chewer so we have zero issues with the attached leash/rope part. The ball is the same hard rubber of a typical Chuck-it ball. The rope makes tossing and grabbing the ball from your dog so much easier and cleaner. I also love this helps avoid any choking hazard with typical balls having the rope.
