Cascada 3/4" G Thread (British BSPP) Female to NPT Male Adapter

I got a great wall-mounted on-demand heater, also on Amazon, but didn't realize until I opened it that the fittings were G1/2 british fittings. There were a dozen different ways I could have adapted them to my household pipes, which were all 3/4 and had NPT fittings. Pretty much no US-to-British adapters are available at any of the big box stores because it's so uncommon, so unfortunately I had to shell out the price for these. It was the least expensive (and if I'm being honest, also the neatest and prettiest) solution. They are certified lead-free so safe for drinking water.

Finally found the right fitting for this pump to water the garden.

As described and great value

This is a great product, works for what it was designed to do. It connected my Antonio Lupi fixtures with NPT fittings. My only recommendation would be to include a few different thickness washers with it. When screwing in plumbing fixtures that need to be perpendicular with the floor, you can’t just leave the washer loose, it has to be screwed in tight to make the water tight seal. If you pass where you need to be for the fixture to be perpendicular to make it water tight, then the fixture won’t work as it should. So then you have to back it off a bit, which now leaves it at risk to leaking since the washer isn’t fully compressed. The washer thickness needs to be precise for both objectives to be met. So it would be nice if it came with multiple washers at different thicknesses so that you could ensure that the fixture lines up properly while also sitting tight to the washer so that it is water tight. That’s my only gripe with it - please add a few different thickness washers with each adapter.

I purchased the G Thread (Metric BSP) 3/4" Female to NPT Thread 3/4" Male Pipe Fitting Adapter, after I discovered that the 15-mm-compression-to-BSP 3/4-in. adapter did not fit my NPT receptacle. I ordered the BSP adapter from the UK, thinking, mistakenly, that 3/4-in. is 3/4-in., right? No. After waiting for a couple of weeks, I got the BSP adapter and tried a (gentle) fit into the NPT, 3/4-in. receptacle. No luck. I came to the Amazon site and discovered this adapter. As soon as it arrived, I screwed the BSP adapter into this adapter, and then onto my NPT fitting. All fits! And yes, I, too, am one of those people who bought a "great deal" Euro shower (from Hudson Reed). Now, I can install it.

It is well made and does what it is designed to do. Seems to be real.high quality brass rather than the cheap chinese stuff we commonly see around here. BE AWERE: Pex-A and Pex-B fittings are different. Male sure you choose the right one.

When a client picked a shower valve and head online because it was attractive. I asked" what is the brand ?" She did not know, so when I show up I find a LightInTheBox Sprinkle shower package. I researched it and saw a number of reviews complaining about the threading, i.e. It wasn't NPT nor metric. I finally found out it was G1/2" thread. WTF is G thread? After calling local plumbing supply places and they had no idea either, I turned to trusty Google. British Gas Thread. Long story but I ordered this adapter and it works GREAT. If they weren't planning to sell the property shortly I would have advised they stay with a shower valve that we can find parts without mailing to Hong Kong.

I bought a thermostatic shower bar that came with offset fittings that were supposed to be NPT, but clearly were not. A fellow at a plumbing store took one look at the thread and said that it was metric, and I will need an adapter. The store didn't carry such adapters, but I easily found these on Amazon. Perfect fit!
