Easy, fast, tactical, replayable, interactive and not multiplayer solitaire, exciting and fun race!
I always see this game recommended and have skipped it since because it is just for 2 players. After just reading the rules, I already know it will be a hit with my girlfriend, and fortunately it was! She really liked it even during our 1st play. Now that I tried it, well, it's still sad that it is just for 2 players, but this game is fun!Pros- Easy to learn and teach.- Fast to setup and play (less than 30 minutes).- Doesn't require a huge table.- Replayable because of the competition among players.- Not multiplayer solitaire. The competition among players makes everyone adapt constantly to make the most out of the current state of the board and always be one step ahead of the opponents. You should always keep an eye to your plans and your opponent's plans.- The game design is brilliantly simple! The rules here are so simple yet very strategic and tactical (though more on tactical).- There is something in this game that makes it very fun and exciting to play. Yes it's simple, yes it's a theme that is overly done already, but there is something in its design that makes it very fun and exciting.- This is a race. The race creates tension, in an exciting way. Everytime a new card is flipped, it is exciting. Whether you were first to sell or not, it is still fun.Cons- This is an unfair criticism of the game. But it's just sad that this game can only be played between 2 players. I know that it is by design, but this game is just so fun not to share with more players. Although I was actually thinking that this game can be played with 3 players, but definitely not with 4 (or maybe you could combine 2 copies and also increase the market display size).

Simple to learn, fun to play
Jaipur is a two player game I purchased in order to have some one on one game play with my teens. Each game is composed of three rounds with the entire game lasting approximately 30 minutes, maybe a bit more depending on whether your opponent makes decisions quickly or is a little slower on decision making. My daughter is more impulsive where as my son will analyze every possibility before play. This game is a great mix of both luck and strategy. The rules are simple and very easy to pick up. The cards are a nice weight with great art. The tokens are a heavy duty cardboard. I do recommend card sleeves to help keep the cards in good condition as you will likely be pulling this one off the game shelf frequently. If you like to watch a tutorial and/or play through before purchasing a game, I highly recommend Jaipur- How To Play made by Watch It Played on YouTube.

An all-around solid game with lots of replayability
Jaipur is one of my favorite quick games. It's dead simple to learn and play, but there's still lots of decision making and strategy that keeps it from getting old. The art is great, the components are solid, and it packs up small (even smaller if you take it out of the box and use one of the apps out there that will count your goods sales, though I myself am a fan of the tokens). Super fun 2-player game. I'm considering getting a second copy so we can try it as a 4-player game with a few tweaks, but if you're looking for the perfect game for a pair this is it.

Very fun game for 2 people!
I'd been looking for games my boyfriend and I could play, that were 2 player games. (Some games do not work with just 2 players even if they say 2-6, etc). This game has a lot of rules, and seems complicated at first but once you get it, it's really fun! This might be my favorite game to play now.

Our new favorite two-player game
My husband and I enjoy playing games once the kids are in bed. We were getting bored of the same games and came across Jaipur online. With excellent reviews and a reasonable price, we decided to try it. It comes in a nice board-game-style box, but is a nice smaller size. The pieces are self-explanatory and the directions are very clear and uncomplicated. The directions include visuals for set-up and different scenarios for play. We were shocked at how easy it was to learn and how simple the game play was but allowed for so much strategy and differentiation between games. There’s the perfect blend of luck and strategy. We also noticed how there was a lot of thought put into the game-play, such as point values, limitations on how to earn points, bonuses, etc. to make it more interesting and each game different. The games are fairly quick so we’ll play 2-5 rounds in a night (the directions are to play best 2 out of 3).We only have wonderful things to say about this game and one month into owning it we have already purchased three more for gifts.

New family favorite (from 5yrs to ....)
My family was at first not excited to try out yet another game, but from the very first game, we all got addicted. My 5yo loves it (and beats me all the time), my 12yo loves it, and we adults love it.It's easy enough to learn and remember when getting back to it! it's a quick game so not a big commitment and strategic enough to not be boring but also so we can play it when tired out at the end of the day. The only thing is tedious is setting it up - but to be honest, it just takes a few minutes; it just feels a bit tedious. I would and probably will buy this as a gift for anyone for a while now!
