SIMPLY Chocolate Duster (300g)

This chocolate shaker was priced at £6.74 for 300g at the time of review, and it really hit the mark. It has a well-balanced sweetness that makes it ideal for topping off cappuccinos, and it certainly passed the test with my mum — right down to the last sip! The tin is generously sized and should last a while. It features a rotating lid with two settings — sprinkle or pour — which works well once opened. The only small issue is the plastic tab on top; it’s a bit fiddly at first, but once opened, it’s easy to use. Great value, great taste, and an excellent addition to any coffee routine.

Nice . Good size for cost

I was slightly disappointed because I thought this consists of only chocolate powder as the main ingredient. But upon checking the ingredient list, sugar is the main ingredient with only 25% cocoa powder. I don't take sugar in my coffee so this chocolate dusting is only used on the odd occasions. The lid has various openings which is easy to use but does not sprinkle evenly. You only need a small amount for one serving so 300g tub can last for ages. The chocolate powder is not overly strong or bitter. I guess the amount of sugar overcomes the bitterness even if there is any. Great on cappuccino and add a bit of chocolatey sweetness to the drink.

Great as always

This is a simple but useful chocolate powder for finishing coffees, hot chocolates and milkshakes. The shaker top makes it easy to add a light, even dusting without making a mess, and the 300g tub lasts a long time because only a small amount is needed each time. It does not completely transform the drink, but it makes homemade coffees look and taste a little more like something from a café.

Nice tub of promising chocolate dust for the cappuccino nuts amongst us - until you read that the product is 75% sugar!! Thought it heavy and too good value to be true. Ok if you take sugar in your coffee - just don’t add it twice. Obs it tastes sweet and good - just not choccy…. Probably will last forever if used very sparingly.

With the price of coffees in the big chains reaching an all time high, I now make my own cappuccino at home with a milk heat & Froth machine and then sprinkle this on top, it lasts for ages and it is really good quality and much better value than the tiny ones at the supermarket.
