Patak's Korma Spice Paste 290g

I moved to an area that does not have any Indian restaurants. I really miss a good korma dish and haven't had much success trying to make it myself. This korma paste was almost as good as what I've had in restaurants. It has a recipe right on the jar, and the recipe calls for half the jar. This made enough for a family meal for 4 (we had it with basamati rice). All together the jar made 8 servings for us.I didn't have any coconut milk, so I used a little coconut oil and added some extra cream and it was delicious. It is very flavorful but not hot. The kids loved it.

We tried this spice paste in one of Jamie Oliver’s recipes. We try to avoid processed food but this worked well. Flavors of Indian food often are difficult to replicate but this product had a sense of authenticity: flavorful but not HOT like some preparations. This was just right.

Great stuff! Just not packed right, was packed with other items and if it has spilled it would have destroyed the other stuff. Other than that all good.

Update: the Patak's Mild Spice Paste I received made a decent Korma sauce with some slight adjustments, primarily adding more cardamom and coriander.I can't really review the Korma Paste because EpiCo sent the wrong product, I compared the ingredients lists and while they are similar, the flavor profile will be different. Unfortunately it isn't​ eligible for return.I've had good luck with all Patak's brand items so I'm not worried, just disappointed.

Not as spicy as I hoped but the flavor is as expected. Too expensive, but if you can't find korma paste in person, it's a good option.

This stuff is awesome! Mixed with some coconut milk and simmered some lamb for about 3 hours. The only down side is we eat it to fast and never any left overs!

Love this paste and it makes enough for two dinners!!

The media could not be loaded. Arrived with the seal broken and leaking into the bubble wrap. Not eligible for return. Can’t speak to the taste of the curry because I won’t try it with the seal broken because I don’t feel like it’s safe.
