Yes. Assuming you are talking about assembling furniture, the drill has a clutch that you turn to set the "strength" of the drill (its the numbered dial close to the trigger). You want to set the "strength" of the drill low while using it to drive screws into shelving units and such that are not made of wood, so that the drill does not damage (strip out) the material you are driving screws into. Just start at a low number and increase it until the screws are snug. Most unassembled furniture these days are made of pressed wood pulp, not very strong stuff. Good Luck!

u can drill holes in metal==wood==plastic it is heavy duty drill that has a lot of power and torque to drill all kinds of holes =ok
