SwimZip UPF 50 Sun Hat with Neck Flap, Beach Hat for Baby, Toddler & Kids

I love this hat! My son struggles to keep hats on, especially if the brim of the hat is all the way around. This hat stays on (the adjustable toggle is well-made and stays in place), is comfortable, and protects his face and neck from the sun. I like the neck flap because it still protects his neck even when the sun is at multiple angles during the day, and it stays off his neck (he can be sensitive to things touching his neck). The hat has been thrown around and taken on multiple plane rides. It packs easily and still keeps its shape due to its durability and material.

I bought this for my 6m old son to protect his head and neck while in the pool. I got the 0-6 size and it fits his head perfectly. The material is extremely nice! The hat itself looks so cute on my baby. It’s extremely soft and durable. I’m sure it will work until he outgrows it!

This is a fantastic hat for my one year old. He is readily on the move. The elastic on the back of the hat tightens it so that it does not fall off. The visor is big enough to block a lot of sun. I love that the hat also shades his neck and ears. This hat reduces the amount of necessary sunscreen. It dries quickly and is durable. We have used it on the beach, in the pool, and running around outside. I have not found any downfalls to this hat. I will buy again in the future.

2 years later this hat is still holding up perfectly. Just ordered another for my new baby. Great purchase! I got the lighter color so it wouldn’t attract the sun as much. Wonderful quality

Fits great, and stays on! This is one of the few hats that doesn’t seem to bother my nephew much - he doesn’t pull it off like some others.

Pros: Thick material, color does not fade, fits well on my son’s head, he still has adequate visibility, durable and reasonable price. Can put in washing machine on gentle cycle and keeps shape. Do not dry in dryer! Cons: The rim sweat stain does not come off. Scuffs on hat do not come off, even with hand washing and a little magic eraser. Maybe my expectations are too high. The flaps cover to his chin exactly, would like a little more length to meet shoulders. Product enhancement: make this hat with longer flaps to cover back of neck and shoulders more for young children, like 7-10 range, as they play in the sun. Will buy again. No better product on Amazon or frankly, I’ve tried very name brand outdoors companies, and it’s still the same problems, just often less structured material which is more easily mauled during play.

Washable, fits great since she was under 6 months to now almost 18 and will continue to fit. Have two of this style and love them! Will repurchase when needed. She can still take it off but I don’t think there’s a magic hat that wouldn’t
