Very detailed, a wealth of information that truly surpases the standard charts from the manufacturer.
Extremely detailed with a wealth of information to make your time on the water safer, and more productive if you are fishing. I was impressed with how much more detail is included on the HD lakes, and even those without HD features have better detail than the stock Lowrance maps. After using it for a day I decided to utilize the online download for the latest updates. Be forewarned, it is not a fast process. Even with a fast internet connection, it took several hours to complete the download. I really like the capability Navionics has for users to record their depth soundings, upload them, and provide Navionics with the latest information to keep their charts current. I was very impressed to see hazards like stumps, rock piles, submerged features like weeds and so on, all noted right on the map. While the cards are not cheap, I do think there is enough valuable information here to make it (almost) worth it. Hitting one stump or rock pile would easily damage a prop or lower end unit, thus paying for this card.

Everything I hoped for and expected. Daily user upgrades to chart and sonar data for a year. 1' contour lines, overhead imagesYES
Absolutely the best I've seen out there. I've used Fishing Hot Spots 2014-it's ok, The "new" Gen2 Lowrance mapping 3D s/w which is better but this blows them all away. Here's just one example: Was on the Cumberland river between Cordell and Old Hickory. Using the FHS2014 didn't even show the river contours at all, barely even the river itself. Lowrance was better and showed ten foot contours, ie; 04'-14'-24', etc... When I updated the Navionics chip in my Lowrance HDS7 Gen 2 Touch (which is upgradeable daily for a year free) and popped it in, it showed more detail and contour lines from my driveway, than I saw with either of the other 2 while on the water. It had 1' Contours (not ten foot) and I can't wait to take it out on the water for the real test. Should have saved myself the time and money and gotten this first.Anyone want to buy Fishing Hot Spots 2014 hardly used original opened box for cheap, let me know....

Having a hell of a time getting my helix 7 to recognize the card and now that it has I cant get maps to show... frustrating as hell for that price I expect more user friendly platform!!!

Expensive
But great detail. The ability to update with your own content is a nice feature as well. Worth the price.
