Sage Descaler for Coffee Machines and Kettles, Pack of 4

Worked like a charm and descaled my Sage Barista Impress perfectly. I hadn’t descaled in longer than I’d like to admit but these sachets provided the cleaning power I needed. I was a bit confused if these were okay to use for my specific machine but they worked great. It was much easier and quicker to get these off Amazon than directly from Sage and will last me for around a year so price wise this is good value.

Did the job. The Barister Pro is VERY sensitive to scale (presumably with their instant heater) so it seems descaling, even with the incredibly soft water here in Scotland, regularly is critical.

Sage coffee machine powder descaler mixed easily with water and flushed through the machine after which the coffee machine now works fine, the only negaive is the price as similar products can be bought cheaper.

Sage has recently revamped their cleaning range to simplify it and reduce packaging. This is a great step and standardises the cleaning process. My Sage Bambino Plus started illuminating the descaler lights yesterday and I immediately ordered this - I don’t mind using the off brand cleaning tablets but I wanted to get the proper Sage branded descaler. It came today and I managed to descale the machine using the instructions on the back of the water tank - however with it being a powder descaler I would advise dissolving the powder in a jug first, NOT within the water tank itself as the granules will just fall into the recess at the bottom and not dissolve. Overall a good product by Sage with much improved packaging.

Great product to keep my coffee machine clean

Live in a hard water area, buy these!! This will prolong the life of your machine and cleans really effectively and from experience, spare parts are hard to come by, so look after your machine. Good value for money when you factor this in

Not so cheap, but works very well. The machine works great after descaling. Of course, I can't see inside the machine, but one thing I can see is that mineral buildup at the tip of the steam wand is all gone after descaling and the steam wand works like brand new, so I'm assuming the inside is similarly clean.
