Love Your Hair Paperback – April 8, 2015

This book has been a wonderful book for my 4 year old little girl. She's been struggling with her hair being different from mine, all her friends and of course all the Disney princesses. This book has helped her 'love her hair' and she's very excited about having long hair and this book encourages you to love your hair if you want it to grow.Thank you for writing such an empowering book for girls with beautiful curls!!

My little girl LOVES this book! I brought this for my 4 year old daughter to helpencourage her to love herself when she looks in the mirror, from her kinky curlynatural hair to her beautiful brown skin. I must say that I personally loved and wasreally impressed by how the illustrations in the book are so adorable and vibrantand the story was very fun and engaging. My daughter even asked me to buy anextra copy of this book so she could gift it to her best friend who is biracial. Ihighly recommend.

Enjoyed the book with my daughter and she liked it as well. Says she’d recommends it for her friend a and she liked her hair even more after reading it. I love the energy of the book! It’s great having a book to teineforce the things I show my daughter about embracing who she is regardless of what others say and so!

Bought about year ago but my daughter has little interest. She’s almost 6 now and brought it to me today and asked me to read to her. She is biracial and has always gotten a lot of attention for her hair. This book was perfect in acknowledging the many comments she may get as well as thoughts she may have and not be able to yet express yet. Thank you for this book and helping my daughter to love her hair!

My 4yr old loves this book! I love that she identifies with the girl. She wears her hair in a puff often so she loved pointing it out in the book.

Excellent book for babies. My Granddaughter’s favorite book. She started reading this book before she was 6months old and she will have you read it 100 times if you allow her.

First, I am bias because I am an infant and toddler teacher. I have been teaching for 15 years and as an African American male teacher, it is great to see book I can use in my classroom that represent the children I am teaching. I used it for two weeks during black history month and suggested to all the parents to get it. One of the best loves is self love.

I think this a very nicely illustrated book. The pictures are so adorable!
