will this braker replace a crouse hinds LW220PR 200 amp braker?

LW220PR is an obsolete Crouse Hinds panel. The QN2200R breakers are not listed for use with the old Crouse Hinds panels. We do not have any UL approved subs to offer for replacement Crouse Hinds main breakers. You would need to source replacement 200A main breaker through a 3rd party, or replace the existing load center.

Are the wire connections on this breaker able to handle 4/0 wire?

Yes. I just installed 400 amp service with two of these breakers and they are both wired with 4/0 with no issues. Plenty of room to fit the wire.
