Repair kit
Excellent product, worked as described. Saved me $2000 by not have to replace my carbon fiber frame. Thank you!

It works!
It works amazingly! However, I also used an epoxy and injected it into the frame crack to build up the inside walls prior to the repair process. One small suggestion is that you may want to add extra shrink tape to the order. Not very much provided. One tip on process, it is easy to over do the epoxy and make a mess. Cover that frame with tape and use the epoxy sparingly...

Over-priced, but cheaper than professional job
I found the instructional video on YouTube to be ok... I watched a few others (not made by Predator) to get a better idea of how to do this. My repair was near the chainstay / bottom-bracket, which is a lot less convenient area than the middle of a tube or something. I found it all to be fairly easy, except when it came to applying the shrink tape. That was a NIGHTMARE. Mostly due to the location of the repair. Wish the instructions had some tips for getting that tape to work on an odd-shaped part of the frame. It was like trying to wrap a sprained ankle with sheet metal. The materials in this box cost at MOST $25, so a price of $99 seems gouge-y to me.

In the past I have used carbon fiber to repair my bicycle carbon fiber frame and was pleased with the results
I was asked to repair a 4 foot microphone boom that had broken in the middle. A temporary repair was made using a plastic tube over the boom wrapped with electrical tape. Unfortunately when the microphone was attached the extra weight caused the boom to bend at the repaired area, this was not a solution to fix the problem. In the past I have used carbon fiber to repair my bicycle carbon fiber frame and was pleased with the results,. The microphone boom cost almost $500 and I knew carbon fiber was stronger than steel so I decided to use this repair kit. The boom was a little over 1/4" in diameter, very fragile and held together by two wires. I have attached pictures of the repair: 1. Microphone boom with temporary repair using electrical tape. 2. After removing the electrical tape I epoxied one edge of the carbon fiber to the 1/4" diameter shaft and let it set. Then I coated the entire carbon fiber strip and wrapped it around the microphone boom. The kit also includes heat shrink tape which I wrapped around the carbon fiber. I then applied heat to the tape using a hair dyer. The tape did a great job constricting the carbon fiber and sealed the repaired area. 3. Clamps were used to align the fragile 1/4" microphone boom while the epoxied carbon fiber cured for 24 hrs. 4. After curing the heat shrink tape was removed and the area was sanded with the sandpaper paper that was provided with the kit. 5. I used a black permanent marker to match the color of the microphone. When I delivered it to the customer they wer very pleased with the results. The carbon fiber repair kit did a great job and it will never break in the same area again!

Good product
This product worked very well to fix a crack on my seat stay, saving my frame for a reasonable cost. I'm not especially skilled at repairs, so I appreciated the detailed instructions.

Everything you need (almost) for minor frame damage
I used this kit to repair a radial crack in the top tube of my Yeti. I was very happy with the outcome. You might be able to find the items in this kit cheaper if you buy them separately, but this makes it easy and is still 4000% cheaper than the alternative (new frame). One tip: make sure the epoxy soaked carbon sheets don’t move out of position as you’re wrapping the heat shrink tape. Mine slid ~1cm, which ended up being ok. They recommended covering the repair to prevent UV damage, so I used 368-0061 clear coat spray (Be careful around this stuff, it’s like aerosol super-glue) to finish after sanding. A few coats left a very nice protective layer that I’m happy with, with the exception of a little roughness at the edges of the spray (I didn’t spray the whole frame).

Expect duty fees if outside of the US.
Kit looks great! But the shipping was a bit of a problem with this item. Not sure why people pay for shipping to the door and then end up having to pick the item up with additional transport fees.
