I like this little microwave. I got it mostly to warm a heating pad I use for pain but it seems powerful for the compact size and wattage. It's lightweight but feels sturdily built too, not like it's entirely made of plastic. I thought the door was broken at first- turns out there's a child safety lock which is apparently government mandated but even if that's a small lie it's a good idea. All you have to do is hit STOP (even after you're finished heating something- it's meant to function as an actual lock) and you'll hear a mechanism that sounds like something unlocking and there it is. It's kind of cool, kind of like a top secret safe except for food. Might be useful for storing top secret materials now that I think about it because I damn near broke that door trying to pry it open not realizing there's a safety lock. I've only had one microwave in my entire life just quit working so I don't think this one is too much of an investment considering the bigger picture of microwave technology. They're kind of like refrigerators, they tend to last. I don't mind the button layout either, honestly idk what everyone's on about, I don't see the problem. It's a standard button layout maybe without some features of the more expensive ones. It's an $80 microwave. People like to complain and then not even post any pictures or helpful info. This microwave is fine. Be happy and live your life lol

FOUND IT! Compact size, great price and a brand we all know. I was looking for something small but efficient just for heating up dinners. My pictures I have a regular dinner plate 10.5 inches and a glass baking dish aka my husband’s dinner bowl which measures 11 inches, they fit perfectly. Love this microwave plus the brand has lived the test of time. 4 stars due to child lock which can be difficult, other than that very happy with my purchase.

Super quiet, nice appearance (mine is black) and heats well. I keep mine in the pantry so it is the perfect size for me.

I loved the fact this matched my 3 other Frigidaire appliances. I read the instructions, removing the child lock deactivation instructions. Push and hold STOP button 3 seconds, then press Door button. I put my coffee in for 30 seconds to try it. Door stuck and the inside plastic of the door separated from the outer metal door. It wouldn't "pop" back in. Trued opening door a second time and it broke into pieces of plastic and springs. Heartbroken, I put it on my walker and threw it in the dumpster next to the old one I threw out 2 days prior. Was shipped this item in its original box, thank God I was home to immediately receive it and keep it from being snatched!! The seller got back to me within 48 hrs and totally refunded it. Got the Chefman with a door handle coming today, via USPS delivery.... nervous! USPS is a bit rough with their packages. 🙏 I would buy from this seller again... not their fault product door was defective. Read the other reviews...happened to others as well.

The color is black, the noise level is much quieter than my old one ,it was very easy to set up, all that needs to be done is to plug it in and read the instruction manual. The thing that I don't like is that there is no free time set options, and that isn't a problem with me, it's all pre timed. It fits the space I have perfectly This was a pre used model I purchased so far I've had no reason to return it and it is definitely a keeper. I'm very happy with the purchase at a price I can afford.

Perfect size for my kitchen

if you want to put a microwave on your counter and you don’t have a thick backsplash, then this plug is not for you. I unpackaged it, plugged it in, tried to push it back a little towards the wall, only to have it stick out over 2 inches from the wall. Why don’t they make a flatter plug? I sent it back. Next time I go to a big box store, I’m going to look for a flatter plug and see if I could get the same model on Amazon. However, if I can’t find a smaller flatter plug for a countertop microwave, I’ll be sticking to a stove.

I was looking for a small microwave that fits in a nook of our old kitchen. This one does the job perfectly. It heats up food three times as quickly and much more evenly than our old one from the 90s (since it actually has a turn plate). The beep sound is not annoyingly loud as I read in some other reviews of other microwaves. Easy to clean, fits my dinner plates, comes with an easy guide and all kinds of handy pre-sets. For example to heat up a big cup of tea, you press the drinks button twice (since it's a big cup) and then indicate the amount of cups (1) and it will heat it up to the perfect temperature. I never knew how to exactly use a microwave so I'd just always put a bunch of minutes that seemed to work, having to add more as I went. Other microwaves probably come with handy guides as well but I appreciate mine so I figured I'd add it to the review. Not much else to say about a well-working microwave, I'm happy with my choice! Higher wattage machines probably have more power but since we were limited by the size of the nook this is the best one I could choose.

No issues after many months of use. I'd only take 1 star off because the controls are very hard to see unless you are in a well lit room. The writing for the controls is quite faint and tricky to see / operate in only partial light... my older microwave had the control writing in thick white, making it easy to see in poor lighting.

It's cheap and it shows. A normal microwave turns off if you press the open switch, this one not only doesn't, even when it's finished, it requires you to press a separate button to unlock before opening - solid UX choice. Also the qualtiy is bad, the buttons are peeling after less than 6 months. Plus if you are working and you think it would be a good idea to heat up a cup of coffee it will make a point of beeping at you forever until you take it out - you're too stupid to know that it's there so you need the reminder.

Compact, looks nice, and gets the job done if your only microwaving small things. Couple things that annoy me though: - there is a safety where you have to press stop before you can open it, even when its done. All other modern microwaves I've ever used just stop when you open it, so it will get on your nerves. - It isn't very powerful - the display is super bright which is annoying if you live in a bachelor suite like me and are trying to sleep and the thing lights up the whole apartment
