Brush-On Sunscreen Mineral Powder for Sensitive Skin

I have been using this powder with sunscreen for years, it seems expensive but it truly is a quality product. I love that it comes in many shades including fair, or more commonly referred to as pale. It's super simple to apply, I remember when the design was somewhat new, it was a challenge to get it to dispense the right amount, fighting with clogged up brushes to wasting 1/2 the product on the floor! Colorscience has great customer service as they sent me a replacement years ago, when that happened and didn't require the return of the one I was complaining about. It works great to even skin tone and cover redness with a barely there feel. Great way to wear that sunscreen, we all know we are supposed to wear without adding extra product and extra time to meet that need. 1 bottle lasts for about 3 months, based on near daily use.

I've used this brand for a while. I became worried about the Titanium Dioxide after doing some reading on sunscreen. Luckily, I was seeing my dermatologist, so I asked her. She said she still prefers this product, along with SuperGoop, and does her best not to inhale while applying. I have already had skin cancer and need to protect my fair skin, so I ordered it from Amazon. UNFORTUNATELY - REVIEWS ARE RIGHT - THE BOTTLE DESIGN CHANGED AND IS VERY FLAWED I reached into my purse today to lift the tube out. It wasn't wedged in at all. I pulled the tube up and BAM it just came out, without the bottom cap, which was the bottom of the powder container. It remained there, and when I lifted, I spread the powder all over the purse. There was no tug. No pull. Just lifted off. I didn't even notice until I spread it on my clothes. Now I need a new walking purse. The leather Fossil bag is toast. There is no removing the powder. Inside or out. It just gets in the pores, which is fine on my skin, not in my leather purse. I went to wash the bulk of it down the sink drain and created a Titanium Dioxide dust cloud - the one and only thing I needed to avoid using this product. This was a complete failure, and I feel ripped off. Product packaging/design is not rocket science. I thought the original design was clever. Whatever they changed was an epic mistake. The fact that they are still selling this makes them predatory, in my book. Dangerous.

This is an excellent extra layer of sun protection and touch up. Initially I tried the sheer matte power, which was extremely white. Purchased this in fair shade and am very pleased. It blends smoothly and looks natural. I have worn this over the Colorescience All Calm Clinical Redness Corrector SPF 50 (which is excellent on its own). Happy to report zero reactions with my sensitive skin. Powders tend to make my face itch and/or skin becomes dry, this does not. Very breathable, I forget I have it on. Minor issues dispensing powder...if it collects in the cap I pour the powder into my palm.

I really like the quality of this powder. It is very fine. Great for setting makeup and I love that it functions as sunscreen. I am very pale though and the lighest color available it is a bit darker than I would like. Also, as much as I like it, I am going to look for a less expensive version. I've bought it a few times now. Good quality, but its just too pricey.

I like this so far as a face powder alternative to put over my tinted SPF that I use as my foundation. It helps if you give it some good smacks upside down with the lid on. I will say that although having the built in brush is convenient, it is harder to get a good amount of produc. I love the finish but I also can’t say how good really the SPF aspect of this is.

Great product! So convenient and easy to use. It's a splurge but it's worth it, especially considering the high percentage of sun blocking ingredients it has. It is fine and will seem like very little powder is coming out but it is. It's a little difficult to see how much you are applying at first. If in doubt, run your finger across the top of the brush and you will see the powder coming out of it. It just disappears onto the skin, can barely even see it. I have the shade "fair". I am usually the 2nd or 3rd lightest foundation shade on a drugstore scale. I use it at the end of the day when my liquid sunscreen is no longer any good, on top of makeup and oily skin. I do blot first though. For any kind of powder product to look good and not cakey under these conditions is impressive. It's great to have when you're out in the sun and can't reapply your makeup or sunscreen. If it didn't cost so much I'd use it in the morning too. There's really nothing else out there like this that performs as well.

This seems to work well, easy to apply (as long as you give it a good shake to start) and no skin issues. Great for applying over make up on hot days but also works without make up. NIce to have sunscreen that isn't sticky!

The texture of this sunscreen powder is very lumpy and dry. The color is too dark. It makes your skin dry, dull and cakey after application. it is not worth for the money spent

I followed the instructions to activate the brush which went well and then tried applying it. It blends seamlessly and looks great, covering up any shiny areas on the skin. Really happy with the product, it will be great to carry around with me during summer ☀️

Me encanto el color me queda Perfecto ! Lo que no me gusto es que no se desmonta la brocha para lavarla . Pero todo lo demás es perfecto!
