I bought this item to use with a rented engine hoist for a transmission install. Best 30 something dollars I've ever spent!!! This thing saved me tons of time and frustration. It was as easy as a turn of a handle to get a CVT lined up perfectly with the engine. God tier tool. Build quality is decent and for a do it yourselfer like me its more then adequate. I cant compare it to another one because this is the only engine leveler I've ever used, but it worked better then I could have even hoped for. I have used Torin jacks and jack stands before, but this is the first item from their "big red" line I've purchased. As long as its kept dry and lubricated there's really nothing that can fail. I'm not sure what else to say except if you're doing an engine or transmission that needs to be lined up for installation, this equipment is a must have.

Work great for pulling boat motor out do to the angle. I didn’t add consistency have to add clevises and remove distributor cap.

handy tool for engine replacement.in past years i was relocating chain to help but now it is much easier to do this by myself.should have bought one sooner

Works great this is my second engine and it’s held well overnight with only 2 chains on each side. Highly recommend it was easy to use you just need to provide your own mounting bolts

The adjuster is a bit grindy and doesn't spin nicely. Could be improved but it's also cheap so. Built cheap but holds ok.
