I have to say I'm even more pleased with this magnifier than I thought I'd be. It arrived with a charging cord, a soft storage bag, and clear instructions for setting it up. The unit makes reading books so much more comfortable and I like that I can select the degree of light strength and color when I want to use that feature. Books are my main passion but this magnifier is handy for reading the small print on just about everything. The unit is far more lightweight than if it were made with glass so that's a plus as well. If I were able to change anything about it, I would make the frame a little wider on all sides (instead of just the one) to make it easier to pick up. I went to the MagniPro site to register it and as promised, their customer service responded and provided an extended warranty should it need replacement. I should have ordered this a long time ago!

I find that my Rechargeable LED Page Magnifier works very well for me. It is not terribly heavy, so it’s easy to use without becoming tiresome. The three different light settings are nice, allowing me to adjust the lighting to the different books, or settings where I’m reading. It’s very nice and makes it possible for me to read even tiny print!

Pretty much as advertised in terms of clarity, lightness, flexible lighting, and like that. If you lay it flat on the page, you get no magnification. The text appears larger as you move the magnifier away from the page. I haven't used it enough yet to know if holding the thing to suspend it in the air over the page is going to get tiring. And if suspending the thing over the page of a book that I am also trying to hold is going to get too tiring. It is very light, so I'm hoping that won't be an issue for me. But if your grip is quite weak, or your wrist or fingers are not very cooperative, using this could be more challenging perhaps

I love it. After 2 min it had enough charge to turn on the light for the 1st time. It has 3 levels of brightness. It is very lightweight. I was able to read all the small print of the mail today very easily. This will be wonderful!!

Great help as my close up vision deteriorates. Very helpful, especially in dark settings.

I've almost completely switched to using a Kindle for reading because of my eyesight, but sometimes you've just gotta read something on paper, so I picked this up due to the positive reviews. And I'll say this: it's lightweight and the LEDs do an impressive job of brightening whatever it is you're trying to read. Unfortunately, the actual lens leaves... a *lot* to be desired. Unsurprisingly given the size it's a sort of Fresnel-y flat thing, and although you don't see the banding that is typical of Fresnel lenses, what you *do* see is a whole lot of blur everywhere other than dead center. So, sure, this is a big lens, but the actual usable area on it is much smaller than the whole unless you constantly tilt it this way and that. I suspect this is just an issue endemic to the form factor, but it certainly was a bummer. I'm a fast reader, so having to constantly wiggle and jiggle this to read a single page of text is obnoxious. It's better than the alternative of not being able to read it at all, and for more narrow reading material (like a column in a newspaper) it's probably fine, but for my purposes--magnifying a page of a standard hardback--it ain't great.

This product helps me avoid looking around for reading glasses and then having to clean them before putting them on. This is most annoying when all I need to read is a few words or sentences. This product lets me simply pick it up and read. Much more convenient. Also built in light source avoids having to look around for lamps and turning them on. Your service through Amazon was excellent.

Longer lasting than the one I have to constantly feed batteries to. The charge lasted me nearly 20 hours. Perfect for any reading and moderately durable. Only thing to make it more durable would be real glass, but then it would be too heavy.

Lightweight, non-distorted page view, one-handed operation make this a favorite tool to read smaller text of some of the books I own. I can imagine how handy this will be for map reading when the light is not so good. I like that I don't have to change batteries often and when the magnifier illumination appears to be weakening I can charge it with my various compatible chargers on hand.

This was a gift to my mother, after having a stroke & loosing sight in one eye. This product gave her the magnification she needed to enable her to read easily with one eye. She is extremely happy with this product, can now read the newspapers & books easily.
