Ok, this time I washed with the matrix shampoo and then put the mask on and left it for thirty or forty minutes. My hair had kind of a yellowish tinge to the Gray.It totally took that out and has a beautiful silvery color nowBefore I did not leave it on long enough and it made my hair look kind of a pale turquoise. First time using and it worked great! Spent all week at the beach so my bleached hair definitely needed a refresh. It left my hair super soft and hydrated which was a great added benefit.

For years I’ve been using shine happy on my blonde hair every 3 months or so to keep it vibrant and cover greys, but it was discontinued and has become increasingly difficult to find and more expensive, so I was looking for an alternative. I used a boxed semi-permanent hair color for the first time in 25 years and was left with an unnatural orange tint. Very cringe inducing orange. I tried a blue shampoo (yellow shirt picture) and a purplish “cool blonde” toning glaze (white shirt picture) and nothing touched the orange and they were really drying and felt like they were damaging my hair. I received the matrix so silver mask last night and couldn't wait to try, so I hopped in the tub, got my hair wet and let it sit for 5 minutes then washed out. After 1 use, it was so much better and the orange tint had faded dramatically. I washed with regular shampoo this morning then used this again (let sit for 5 minutes then wash out) and I’m basically back to “my” hair color (purple shirt pictures are before dye) with no grey (black shirt picture is after two uses of matrix so silver mask.) I still need to find an easier way to get there lol, but this product will be kept on hand for sure. I had a hard time finding reviews that applied to my situation, so hopefully this helps someone! :)

This is amazing! I was getting some yellowing in my white/silver hair, probably due to heat tools, and this took it OUT on the first application! Amazing! I started with the spray leave-in conditioner which did an amazing job on its own, but added this for an extra layer. Also, this does not seem to be drying to my hair.

This product is okay. Don't leave on more than 10 minutes are your hair will have a purple tint
