30X Loupe Magnifier Loop Magnifying Glass Jewelry Coins Supplies

I'm a printer. And I've been a printer for over 50 years. And one thing I always do is carry a loupe in my pocket every morning when I leave home. And now, I finally found the best loupe I ever owned. OK, so it's a bit too large and too heavy for my pants pocket, but boy, does it do the job. I leave it on my desk or sometimes press-side so it's always handy. The lens is large, the style is "heavy-duty" and best of all it emits a bright, super-white light that really lights up the press sheet. It's made of metal, so it doesn't slide around or get lost on a busy stripping table. It's equally as good on offset or gravure press sheets. The only thing it's not, is small enough to carry in my pocket. But that's an easy trade considering the quality and the bright, built-in lights (both white and blue.) It has a 2" x 1.5" platform and its 2" tall. Has 2 high quality lenses and its put together with about a dozen small screws. This is heavy-duty all the way. And the best part is watching the press operators sweat when you approach the press with this new heavy-duty loupe in your hand. Enjoy. I know what I'm giving out for Christmas gifts next year.

Works really well on seeing if cards are fake or have defects. It has already saved me twice.

I work for a printer company and needed a loupe to evaluate halftone screens. This one magnifies pretty well when the white light is on. I don't know when the black light would be useful. However, neither light worked out of the box. I opened up the cover (3 small phillips screws) and found one of the batteries to be corroded. After cleaning it with a wire brush it showed full charge on the tester so I reinstalled them and it now works fine. As others have noted, there is no auto-shutoff and it is easy to leave it on in black light mode. It uses three LR936 batteries so stock up on those.

Bought to inspect wood plane, chisel, and knife blades while sharpening. And it does that extremely well. I collect and even occasionally use a lot of old (and some new) tools from the US, the UK, and elsewhere in Europe. Some of my other reviews have castigated products that used to be made in western countries whose manufacturers shifted their production overseas and seem to have accepted a drastic reduction in quality, sometimes to the point of making their product useless (e.g. Swing Away, Nicholson, Rubbermaid Petersen). I don't know if this is a copy of something originally made elsewhere, but if it was, I couldn't afford the original. This costs little enough that I won't notice the cost. If it's mislaid, I'll buy another. Is it really 30X magnification? No, probably not even close. But I can clearly inspect scratch patterns on abraded or polished surfaces and edges, even on 0.5 mm secondary bevels. There's little or no obvious distortion across the field. In daylight the LED illumination isn't necessary, but it's very helpful in low light. The UV light option seem to work, but I don't have anything to use it on. It's also very helpful to have the metric and English scales. I haven't had to replace batteries or LED's yet, so I don't know if there's any gotchas with that.

I am in the printing industry and use this quite often. I dont know long the battery will last. I should have gotten the USB rechargeable model. This battery model came with NO INSTRUCTIONS and there is no visible way to replace the battery. I suppose when the light stops working, I will have to disassemble it to find the battery and determine what battery is needed and how to replace it. It was only $20. But I do not believe it is intended to be disposable.

I bought this magnifier in December 2024. I am a stamp collector and wanted to be able to really examine old stamps for errors etc. I have 6 other kinds of magnifiers that I have bought over the years and was not really satisfied with any of them. (I also am an avid plant grower and want to be able to examine my plants for diseases and bugs like aphids etc.) This is the best one (especially for the price) that I own and use all the time. Real easy to use. No focusing. Just lay it flat on the object you want to look at and it is always in focus. Caution: the writeup says replacement batteries are LR927. This is incorrect, they are too thin. The batteries that were in the magnifier are LR936.

It's good for what it is designed for: place whatever you want to see at the bottom, but it didn't suit my purpose I bought it to look at my coin collection, many of which are in professionally graded, thick protective holders and in a protective binder sleeve. Using this magnifier, the coin is JUST barely far enough away where it is barely out of focus Not for me, but for what it is designed for it is very rugged, works well. The light is fantastic, makes looking at dark coins very nice

El tamaño es muy bueno, la calidad es excelente pensé que iba a venir sin pilas como en los otros comentarios pero fue todo lo contrario, llegó antes de lo esperado eso le suma puntos, lo compre para mis clases de dactiloscopia y funciona a la perfección, para mí una persona con lentes está perfecto casi no tienes que fijar la vista.

es muy util la lampara incluida ayuda mucho a ver mas los detalles

Lo unico que no me encanta es que usa pilas de reloj y estas se acaban en una par de horas de trabajo continuo!

Se ven muy bien los objetos es muy práctico

La verdad está super buena, sólo espero que la batería no se agote rápido
