Nice little product. The diamond file works great for sharpening hooks. The needle tip is great for cleaning out those jigs that have paint over the line eyelet. The retractable lanyard is great on an ice fishing suit. I was able to keep it on one of the loops close to me at all times. However the sharpness and straighness of the blades could be better. The middle of the blades make contact and usually snip the line clean on the first try. However if you use the outside edge it doesn't always cut through. If you look in the comments you'll see other people talking about that. I would love to give it five stars cuz it is Handy and it seems like it's good quality materials however the cutting part of it just didn't meet my expectations. It's definitely worth the money if you get a set that cuts through the line every time.

Perfect for attaching to our fishing vest for easy access to change out flies and hooks, and change tippet fly line and trim the excess off

Doesn’t cut braid well
The reel and clip seem high quality. Does fine with mono and fluro, but struggles with braid. Disappointed.

Bought this to assist with tying knots. Depending on what methods you used this might not be as fast but is more solid. Great little tool to have and is like a Swiss army knife for fishing.
