My Favorite Vegan Cook Book
This is one of my vegan cookbooks that I turn to most of the time. The recipes are just great and I don't think that there's one that I made that I don't like, but of course I haven't tried all of the recipes yet. Even though these great recipes are unique, the ingredients that are used are usually in my kitchen cupboard. There are faux recipes that are just great too. I highly recommend this cookbook.

All Vegans should have this book
Sarah Kramer is one of my favorite vegan cookbook authors ever. Her books are so user friendly and would be great for a beginner. The back of the book has a wonderful index. Example: You can look up Butternut Squash in the index and it will tell you every recipe that has butternut squash in it. Great for when you have veggies, fruit, etc. that you are trying to get rid of. None of her recipes are too out there like some cookbooks. She tells you what you can replace certain ingredients with too. Of her three full sized books this is the one I seem to go to at least once a week. Vegan A Go Go rocks though!

Very Disappointing
I love to cook and I am very critical of cookbooks... and just food in general. The recipes in this book appear to have been submitted by other people via the internet. Furthermore, they don't seem like they were tested. How can put your name on a cookbook when you are just compiling a bunch of recipes submitted by other people.I am a defender of vegan food: it is not boring, bland, or unexciting. You wouldn't know that from this book. There is nothing more disappointing then buying a load of expensive ingredients, following a recipe, then watching it flop. Every recipe I've tried was unappealing to me in either texture or flavor.I didn't even keep this book, I sold it to a used book store. In conclusion, this book looks pretty but doesn't deliver. I like that Sarah Kramer has brought a lot of positive attention to vegans, but if you are putting yourself out there as a cookbook author, how about putting a little more effort into the recipes not the photography. For awesome vegan cookbooks with amazing recipes created by the hardwork of the authors check out any cookbook with Isa Chandra Moskowitz and Terry Hope Romero

Originally got this at the library and couldn't live with out it. Great recipes even for a new vegan or just a part time vegan The setain wheat meat recipe is so tasty and versatile. Fun author and a fun tasty book

If you aren't vegan or don't have a lot of special vegan foods, this might not be for you.
The author is really sweet and she has a LOT of recipes. The only problem (which is more on my end) is that I'm not vegan; I just have a lot of stomach issues and vegan food helps in some cases. So I didn't have all the ingredients she needed for her recipes (and I stock a lot of ingredients at my place..), and a lot of her recipes have a high number of them. But the recipes are easy to follow and she has a nice selection. In summary: best if you are a vegan, somewhat helpful if otherwise.

Tasty recipes for every kind of meal and occasion
I started with the soup recipes - all come out wonderfully. Since then have moved on to cakes such as banana bread (yep, turns out cakes made with tofu instead of eggs and marg are pretty good). My friends devour them in about a day so then I have to make another one. No one suspected they were vegan cakes! There are also recipes for mixing your own spices such as cajun or salt-free seasonings. I'm also now looking at the breakfast muesli and granola section. It seems like I will never get bored of this book nor run out of new kinds of food to explore.I enjoy eating more healthily and I also enjoy cooking so much more since I got this book. Now I actually look forward to finding a new recipe to try.The recipes are straight forward though I did have to stock up on all kinds of spices, but they have been worth it as now I use them all the time.

Best Cookery Book
Fun. Sassy. Delicious. Easy to read and follow directions. When I think of a dream neighbour, I think of Sarah Kramer. She sounds like the best, coolest friend that would bring you amazing nibbles when you really need it. I use these recipes on a regular basis and have given this book for gifts 10+ times. It's that good.

Made a new vegan very happy
I love this book and Sarah's style.I am a new Vegan and a friend recommended it to me. I wasn't disappointed and my highly skeptical meat eating partner has join me happily for many of the meals I have made from it.Although some of the ingredients are USA named it isn't hard to find out what their UK versions are and there's a hand conversion list at the back to enable you to change the 'cup' measurements.

One of the best
This was recommended by vegans who run the local health food shop and certainly inspired a vegan virgin with exciting recipes!
