It does exactly what it's intended to do. The rubber is thick and made of good quality. It fits just right for the subwoofer driver on my Klipsch Promedia 2.1 computer speakers. I have to give it 5 stars because, functionally, it does the job BUT the old surround was made of a lighter weight foam and at least half the thickness of this surround so performance-wise you do lose some of the punch of the sub due to not to the cone not being able to move as freely due to the added heft. It does what it is intended though so I can't knock the product itself.

I just picked up a Klipsch 2.1 Promedia system for a gaming cabinet, only to find out the foam surround was completely deteriorated around the sub. Never having repaired a speaker before, I watch a YT video and bought this rubber surround and speaker adhesive from Amazon. The surround was the right size for the 2.1 6.5" sub and feels very durable. After gluing the surround to the speaker cone and the metal support, I let it cure for a couple of days then fired it up. The speaker is sounding good and working well. For less than $20 for this surround and the glue, I was able to bring this system back to life. That seems like a good value to me!

They worked great speaker sounds amazing. They look a little sloppy, but that's due to me being a non-artistic type but they are behind the grill that is not visible. I used aleens tacky glue. For the repair.

Bought 6.5in surround replacements to repair aging Klipsch 2.1 thx pro media driver. My model was the legacy way out of production 4ohm drivers which are sort of challenging to source replacement. Picked up these rubber surrounds and glad I did. They are great quality and were perfect fit for the 6.5 driver that had zero foam surrounds touching the speaker cone anymore. Not by any abuse, but with age they just deteriorate. Buy some good glue. That’s probably my best advice. Think some m-3035 stuff is industry standard for these types of repairs. Speaker, one installed into sub-enclosure, sounds good as new! These worked great to repair my NHT tower speakers. I need to trim just a tiny bit off the outside trim ring for perfect fit. Other than that, easy to use.

It's not 6.5". I have Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 and it's smaller for subwoofer.

I found that the old foam surround was more forgiving than these rubber ones are when it comes to fitting every type of speaker. These have too much "spring" or "memory" and if, for example, the cone doesn't sit exactly where these are molded to they will pucker and pull away while the glue sets. Never had as much trouble with foam surrounds. My results were less than ideal and I would not do this again.
