Visualites Lightweight Rimless Reading Glasses For Men and Women - Model - VIS 1

I recently had cataract surgery and now need reading glasses for looking at anything close to me. I've bought many pairs in many strengths and many brands. Of the Visualites, I bought the ones that are a clear color all around, and I love them. Not only do they blend right into my face, but they are so lightweight that I can't even feel them so I can wear them for hours painlessly. I also like the fact that the lenses are narrower (from side to side) than all of the other readers I've purchased. They fit my face better and the bows don't push my ears out like all of my other readers do. So comfy and I see great out of them. I have read other reviews that complain these are too delicate and break easily. I agree with those who suggest if you are hard on glasses, get some sturdier ones. These are delicate, and I will take care of them so they won't break, and will likely put a drop of Locktite in the screws so they won't come out. If they do break, I'll just buy another pair. What do you expect for $20! For me, I can't beat the price nor the comfort for what I'm getting.

I have tried several pairs of reading glasses recently, those are by far the best of a bunch. They are clear, light weight, comfortable to wear for long period of time. Yes, they are a bit more expensive than the others, but you got what you paid for. Glad I decided to give them a try.

I typically buy much cheaper reading glasses. They work fine and I don't have to worry about losing a pair of $3 glasses. But I wanted a better pair to keep in one place and picked these. I'm glad I did. The design is nice. They're open and easy to see over when I am not reading or trying to. And they're very light. I love that the lenses are not surrounded by frame. They come with a storage case, a simple tube to slide them into. This is the only thing that I don't understand, and why I didn't give it 5 stars. The case is small and tight, and the lenses rub up against the case, which will surely cause scratches if you do use the case on a regular basis for keeping the glasses in. They're good glasses overall. And they do the most important thing. They let me see. :-)

These seem very light weight. However, they don't come with the rubber nose pads. They aren't adjustable. The nose pads are part of the plastic frames. So keep in mind they changed the design.

They are really light and I love them, but fitting them in the case is pretty tight and I'm afraid they won't last long because of it. I like reading glasses with a hard case to protect them-- so...so far, so good! UPDATE: The first pair of these reading glasses I purchased have lasted all this time, and have never been broken! I'm so happy with them I have bought a second pair. They are light, durable, and the hard case protects them from damage. These are the BEST reading glasses I have ever owned!

Have always loved these but QC serms to be degrading. Last month I ordered 2 pair. Within a month the tiny nut on the right side of the nose piece is gone and the whole thing wobbles and can't be fixed. 2nd time this has happened. Poor quality control. No spare part with glasses for repair. High price for glasses that are worthless after a month. Disappointing

I really like these, and have a number of pairs, but I have had two issues with these. 1) They will stretch and then will easily fall off your face if you lean forward or bend over. When they are new they don't do this. I've had this happen with only two pairs. 2) I've had three pairs now crack the lens right where the screw goes into it. Part of the problem is the that they ship with. It is too tight and is causing this to fail at the screw. Once that happens, you will see the crack and instant headache after awhile. I think if they gave you a slightly bigger tube so it didn't compress these so much when you try to get them in I think it would eliminate the one issue. Not sure if that also is causing the temples to stretch as well.

I love these glasses! Until I had cataract surgery, I never needed glasses for close up work or reading. After the surgery, I could see perfectly for distance, but I could no longer read without glasses. I purchased four other pairs before I discovered these. I bought the ones with the clear frames. They are very flexible, but don't bend out of shape. The ear pieces are a silicone rubber, so there is no pressure at all on your ears or head. I am able to watch tv easily with these because they are small enough that I can still work on my sewing and also glance up over them for the tv. Another huge plus for me - I wear these on a chain around my neck, and these are the only ones that the connectors on the chain don't constantly slip off of. I will definitely buy more of these as I need them.
