The high side fitting is too big for my old port?

Same here. The 2 fittings are the same size and both fit the low pressure port. This kit does not work.

Can anyone tell me if the low side port fits a .375 inch threaded r12 port?

The high side fits perfectly but the low side is too big! Why is this not fitting? What is the resolution?

Does the valve push down the existing valve in the port when it’s screwed on? Or when r134a goes in?
