Absolutely fantastic PSU!
PC Power & Cooling is a mini-company owned by OCZ. I've owned an OCZ power supply in the past, and it was pretty great (for the price). I had my gripes, but they're unimportant. I own/have owned 4 OCZ SSD drives, and have not had a single issue with any of them. OCZ is a good company. Now, this PSU may be sold by a company owned by OCZ, but its internals are made by SeaSonic. Confused yet?Seasonic is basically regarded as the best PSU brand out there. Their products are extremely high quality, are efficient, run cool, and are generally very expensive. This PSU, on the other hand, is on the cheap side of the price spectrum. I don't know why, I don't care why, but it is. I paid a little over sixty bucks, and there was a rebate, so this PSU was extremely affordable. On to the product...It's built very well. No creaky casing, nearly silent fan, modular cables, and WHITE. It's beautiful. I have a Fractal Design Define Mini case, which has a few white accents inside the case, so this PSU fits perfectly. I couldn't be happier.400w is plenty for me, so no complaints there. In my opinion, the only shortcoming of this product is the mis-matching of modular cables with permanent cables. The permanent ones are all sleeved, the modular ones are flat plastic ones. I'd rather them look the same, but, functionally, it doesn't matter in the least. Not having sleeved modular cables probably makes more sense anyway, since they'll be more willing to share one cable-management hole (flat cables take up less vertical space). If this paragraph doesn't make sense to you, ignore it. It doesn't matter anyway. In the box, IIIRC, is the PSU itself, a synthetic-woven draw-string bag for the modular cables, manuals, a little set of cable ties, and some foam packing. The box seems a little big, but every ounce of space is used logically. It might not be 100% environmentally friendly (I honestly don't know, I don't recall if it was recycled cardboard or not, and I don't know of the synthetic bags were recycled), but there's no stupid shrink-to-fit plastic packaging. It's a good box.All in all, this power supply is really fantastic. Whether the generous rebate is available or not, this PSU is worth the cost. Even at MSRP, I wouldn't feel cheated of my money. If the white suits your style, get it. If the white is a turn-off, get it for a friend who doesn't care how it looks.Definitely 5/5 stars. Will buy again.

Really nice, very efficient smaller modular support
While this is only a 400 watt supply, unless you're running a pc with a high end graphics card or a LOT of disk drives, it'll suffice. Most average computers and many older ones use 300 or 350 watt supplies. I've seen 350's in i7 machines and 300's in i5 machines from the brand name PC suppliers. So if you're looking for a replacement for an older machine or a modest supply for a new build, this is an excellent choice. Since computer power supplies can lose 5-10% of their output every year, its not unusual for a machine with a 'right sized' supply to exhibit some weird problems, crashes or blue screens, a replacement after 3-4 years may be necessary. The quality of the supply is excellent. It is a 'modular' supply, which means all the wires you might not use arent permanently connected and can be removed, which can make the mess of wires in the computer a little easier to deal with. Just make sure the modular supply you're getting has all the cables...some leave a few out and make you spend extra for those. This one has enough for most people. The 80 plus bronze rating means this is more efficient than an average supply, which could save you $5-7 a year if you're a heavy computer user. Many cheap power supplies waste 30% or more (sometimes a lot more) of the electricity they convert for the computers use. The 80+ bronze means you'll get ~82-85% efficiency while a gold or platinum might top 90%. Its very quiet, compact, and well regarded by the people who review power supplies.I'm not 100% sure, but I think this is made by seasonic for ocz who sells it branded as pc power and cooling. PCP&C is a good name in power supplies, and seasonic (if they did indeed make it) is one of the top 3-4 power supply manufacturers. This will cost you $10-15 more than a budget supply but its worth it...over a few years it'll pay you back with cheaper operating costs, clean power and fewer problems.

Stable Reliable Power
Just what I want in a PC power supply. The 20 + 4 pin main power connector was easy to insert into the mother board once I figured out that putting the 4 pin portion in first made it much easier to insert correctly. Same with the 8 pin EPS 12V connector, which is really a 4 + 4 pin. Think flexibility here. The unit has two of the EPS connectors and two of the PCI Express 6 + 2 connectors. Those cables are permanently connected, no power loss. The PSU comes with plenty of power cables for SATA and the 4 pin Peripheral Power Connectors. And one floppy power adapter. All the cables are either sleeved with black mesh and heat shrink tubing or made from all black ribbon cable. Plus all the connectors are black. I like the look. The modular cables all have a nice high quality power connection. They are easy to connect and stay in place due to a positive screw on lock nut.Being semi modular you get the best of both worlds. I only used one of the modular SATA power cables to power up a SSD, HDD, and an Optical drive. I still have two more unused sockets on that cable. I have a lot less clutter than if I used a supply with all the cables permanently attached. It is quiet, very quiet. The fan doesn't even run till the unit if loaded past 50%. When you're just doing a little surfing or writing a document you hear silence. Fire up a game and the fan runs, but just enough to stay cool.It has input power factor correction, that lets you use more of the power available at the outlet in your house. And it's over 80% efficient, less power is wasted.Everything I like in a PSU, even the seven year warranty. How can you go wrong? It's 2017/03/22. My power supply is still working well for me. With 16,166 hours on the hour meter that was installed during the build. I'm just as happy with the PSU now as I was the day I installed it.
