Easy to use. Clear sound. Lanyard was handy for use, didn't have to hold it.

This is a nice, cheap little radio. Nice small size that fits in your pocket. I have been able to get all local channels with no problems. Headphones were okay. Fine for the price. I did change mine out for a higher quality pair that I already had though. Great strong sound and reception. Even better after I switched to better quality Headphones.

The sound quality is pretty solid for its size, and it’s super easy to use. It’s definitely come in handy for group activities and staying connected on the go. My only wish is that it had Bluetooth capability for a bit more versatility—but for what it is, it does the job really well! Functions well and durable functionality

These units are great for attending conventions that broadcast on FM frequencies. Easy to set up and use and good quality sound. Battery life is decent. A couple long days will drain the batteries, but that is expected.

UPDATE: While preparing for our 2026 recording, I discovered the radio is not transmitting stereo signal, meaning the sound coming from both left and right earbuds is exactly the same. This doesn't work for recording purposes as described in my original review. Singers must have stereo sound where we are able to pick up separate left and right channels from an FM transmitter. We are singing 4-part harmony, a cappella (voices only), and the soprano and tenor (high parts) are transmitted into the left ear while the alto and bass are transmitted into the right. Each part needs to hear their own pitch to keep a thousand singers together. So, I dropped the rating from 5 stars to 3 because the radio is not picking up stereo sound, which is critical for the purpose of the purchase. _________________________ My husband and I are Acappella Praise & Harmony singers. When our group gathers to record an album we must use FM Radio receivers, with WIRED earbuds. We need them to hear our vocal click tracks so that hundreds of singers are able to be precise with the music. This FM receiver worked very well. The signal was easy to tune, came in strong, and the sound quality was great for our purpose. Even though earbuds came with the receiver, I purchased a much higher quality set, so I did not use the earbuds that came with it. The battery life was excellent. In past recording projects I have always had to replace the batteries. This receiver’s batteries maintained their charge throughout 2 long days of recording, and were only halfway depleted. I also like how small and lightweight this receiver is, and it comes with a lanyard so it can be worn around the neck. I will be recommending it to my P&H friends when they need to replace their receivers.

I loved the radio, the signal is good, I just recommend that you buy better headphones, the quality of the headphones that come with the radio is horrible

My blind friend used this for low fi tuning and it worked perfectly for her at convention! My father in law is hard of hearing and it was just what he needed to muffle noise with the buds and isolate the speakers! Thanks so much!
