Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Pill Assist Treats for Medium & Large Dogs - 224g

My cunning old dog would lick off pâté, cheese etc wrapped round a pill and then spit out the pill. I have small hands and she's a German Shepherd -Rottweiler cross so I couldn't get her to open her mouth by squeezing the corners of her mouth. My sister recommended these pill assist treats, and my dog loves them. Given that she needs paracetamol three times a day in addition to her monthly arthritis injections, it's really helped her. She's a very old dog now but the vets are happy that the quality of her life is good as long as we can manage her pain. These treats have taken a weight off my mind and improved my dog's life.

It's a really good idea however my elderly dog just isn't interested. They are expensive but I would certainly still buy them if they helped my dog. I'll just have to carry on with the pill popper.

These are brilliant. The dogs love them, they stay soft and cover any pill shape, and never, never never get spat out.

My spaniels nose can sniff a pill a mile away! I dread her regular flea treatment pill as getting her to swallow it was a night's work! I tried tuna, cheese, liver paste... The list is endless. So out of desperation and with little hope I tried these rather expensive treats. I wrapped the pill in it with little hope and sure enough she spat it out. I tried again with half the pill divided into two treats. Put them down and walked off pretending not to look 🙄 After a bit of sniffing she walked off and as I approached her food bowl .. YES RESULT!! If it was a bit cheaper I would have given 5 stars but it has definitely made my life a tad easier.😜

So much easier to give tablets

I'm sure they are good if they are delivered as they appear on the packaging but they had obviously sat in the back of a hot van for a while maybe under some other items. The result was a semi-useable mush. They do work though as the dog will eat the pills if I wrap them in the mush but I'm not sure that they work better than squishing up some grated cheese which is undoubtedly cheaper.

My dog won't take tablets, she knows if they are in cheese or whatever else. These work a treat (see what I did there). An absolute life saver. Worming my dog took a couple of minutes rather than a whole evening of messing around. It is expensive, but a good investment if your dog has to take meds daily. It would be brilliant if they did a smaller pack for less money, as it's a large bag and I can't see us using them all up before they go out of date. I've given a 4 star rating for flavour as our dog ate them but I'm not going to know 100% unless I actually try one myself, which I am not doing.

Ohne Pill Assist frisst mein Hund keine Tabletten. Mit anderen Hilfsmitteln spuckt er zum Schluss die Tabletten immer wieder aus.

J'ai pris au poulet pensant que mon chien aimerait car il a un traitement à prendre 2f par jour. Ça ne fonctionne pas, les pill sont gros mais peuvent se couper, ça fait pâte à modeler. Non pour le mien et c'est honereux.

Ideales. Cualquier píldora se la come sin rechistar hehe.
