AUGSUN 40Pcs Butterfly Iron on Patches Insect Embroidered Sew Applique

I love these butterfly patches! I think they're the best price for the quantity available and the quality is great! The patches are thick and well formed. I've bought 4 boxes so far (wish there was an option for a larger pack!) and all have had the correct count and colors (each had a bonus patch too - either a Christmas tree or pink lollipop). Only one box had 3 lower quality patches (the larger butterfly in dark blue had some missing adhesive in parts on the back making it a rough back). I wish there was an option to just buy the larger butterflies as all the kids seem to prefer that size. We've been raising butterflies over summer and invite friends over for the release. We let everyone pick a patch to take home with them. The kids love it and can add it to their backpack or whatever. I do tell parents to sew it on though, but I always sew patches on (the iron can harm some fabrics and often they'll peel off). I would also love an option to buy a large quantity pack of just the orange ones as that's the right color for monarchs. But the kids love all the colors. Glad there are three types of pink for the girls! Brown is the least favorite and I wouldn't mind if they swapped it out for a different color. I added some to my backpack (Lovevook sling bag) and love it. And we sewed some pouches with them. They're super cute and will definitely buy again.

My logo has butterflies in it. I was searching for a product that was durable, easy to use and vibrant colors. I found all those qualities in this pack. I iron these onto my caps! I love them and have received so many compliments. So far, none have come off. And I'm in water situations often. I feel like if they do start to come off, I can easily fabric glue them on. They are so cute! I used smaller ones on the Small rips on my jeans! The stitching on these fabric butterflies are spot on! Some I ordered had stitching coming apart. Not these! Love all of them!

I got this after noticing that my daughter's new crib sheet have a hole. This is after I washed it, so I can not return it. I love how nice and well made the patches were. The threads used have a lovely sheen to it. Definitely, worth the money especially how many is in here. I really have no intention of just ironing it on, but I tried it just to see. As I need it to stay there permanently. It didnt come with any instructions on how long should you do it or suggested temperature or setting for the flat iron. So I winged it, I set my iron on the highest setting and used a washcloth over the patches (so just in case it melted, my flat iron is safe, this also helps in keeping the patches in place). Passing the iron a few times didnt seem to do anything, so I let it sit on top of it for 15 secs. The problem is after a 5 mins I noticed that the sides are lifting. So I used the iron again (same setting and set up). It helped, only by a little. I wasnt too bummed about it because I intend to sew it on anyways. I noticed that the adhesive material on the back kind of seeped into the front, but it came off in the wash. A little tip, when sewing it on, do not sew on the excess material outside the butterfly outline, that bit will fray in time. Instead, sew it inside the black outline stitchings of the butterfly. This will hold the patches in the fabric longer. Hope this helps. 😀

These butterflies are beautiful! Be aware that there are no instructions in the package on how to attach them. You must cover the butterfly with a cotton cloth for the first ironing, turn the item over to the back and iron again to adhere solidly. A bit of hand stitching around the edges of the butterfly will guarantee it won't come loose over time. I did not use a pressing cloth on my first butterfly. Some plastic part on the antenna melted slightly and stuck to my iron. After my iron cooled, I was able to scratch the plastic off with my fingernail. I learned my lesson. That is why you need a pressing cloth.

Colors are bright, sizes are accurate to what was shown on site. Very nice material. Really nice! I also added the cat at the bottom of idea. It was a separate buy.

I love these butterflies but I thought they were iron on. This doesn’t seem to be the case or the iron on just doesn’t work. They are great anyway if sewn on. Vibrant colors and good quality!

I’m just delighted! Beautiful selection of colours and they seem very sturdy. Unlike other reviewers I just went straight in a sewed these patches as I want to put them on masks which I wash regularly. Iron-on never lasts for me. They even came with a mini sewing kit! I’m so pleased! Will be back!

I had these for a few years and finally ironed them onto a pair of pants that had a bone in them. They’re bright and beautiful. Very happy with my results. Only complaint I have is that they didn’t cone with any instructions on how to best apply them but another iron on patch came with instructions which had some great tips.
