This product is great astringent for normal or oily skin types. Not meant for dry skin types. It's not life changing compared to other toners, but really shines for sensitive skin with broken barriers. If you find yourself with really damaged skin, this is such a great first step. You can use it with a toner mask to quickly flush out any irritants in your skin, or use it with a cotton pad like any other astringent toner. I think this works better than the thayers witch hazel toners as an astringent toner because its so incredibly gentle to be used every day. It wont give you amazing hydration but at least you'll get a little bit with the sodium hyaluronate in it. My favorite way to use this is to carry it in a spray bottle to mist my face whenever my eczema flares and becomes insanely itchy. It provides immediate itch relief without having to apply creams over make-up. Will keep repurchasing these giant bottles to have on hand for emergency in case of eczema and psoriasis flare-ups.

I like to use this in the morning, because my face is the calmest when I wake up, and if I wash it with cleanser and water I feel like I just strip it from its natural moisture that built up over night. This o allows me to wipe off that morning shininess, but not irritate my skin. It feels calming and refreshing and feels like it only adds to my natural moisture.

If you have had a hell of a time trying to find a skin care product for mixed skin then this line is your answer! I have never had skin heal and feel so good after using a product. Clean ingredients simple to use and happy with the results.
