Great for travel.
Ok, when I travel, I hate to do laundry, and the prices at hotels to do laundry, forget about it. These pads allow me wear tops more than once. The pads are a little stiff when you attach them to your top, and they are a little tricky to put in place, but they do stay on all day. As I said, they’re stiff, and a little uncomfortable at first, but they soften while wearing them during the day. I’ve used them on cotton and cotton poly blend clothes, and you really have to pull to get them off. There’s a slight chemical-ish smell, but it’s better than day old deodorant smell. I don’t travel on extended trips without these.

They work but don’t stick
Really hard to get these to stick to your clothes and stay in one spot.. I used these while I was 9 months pregnant in the summer heat. It was helpful to prevent sweat stains but they NEVER stayed in place and would always bunch up while wearing..

These suck!
They did not work at all. I tend to sweat a little too much when I get nervous or stressed. I wanted something that would keep me covered just in case. These were not it. I would recommend buying the washable ones that hook to your bra straps.1. The strips that you pull off to expose the tapes are very hard to remove without ripping the whole thing.2. They were hard to place in the garment. If your shirt or dress has any stretch at all, they will not stick properly.3. When I pulled the shirt over my head to put it on they came lose. I ended up trying to reach up through my shirt to replace them.4. They were too small. To absorb properly they need to be longer and probably wider. I am not a huge woman and they still did not cover the entire area.5. They are not very absorbent at all. It did not take long for me to sweat through them.

Performs as advertised
These are great for people who experience excessive underarm sweat. I usually apply these to a camisole under whatever blouse/shirt I’m wearing, rather than the item itself. Especially useful if you’re wearing a silk blouse. If I’m trying to protect a jacket, I apply the pads to the shirt I’m wearing underneath. The adhesion of these pads is great, but be sure to remove them right after use - I made the mistake of not removing them from a camisole during a week-long business trip, and when I got home, I had to gently peel the pads away, but the adhesive stuck to the fabric of the camisole and I still can’t remove all of it, even after several washings.I dropped one star for the adhesive issue and also the pads are a bit bulky. On most women’s blouses, at least, if you apply directly to the underarm area and raise your arm, the pad is clearly outlined against the fabric.Bottom line: 4 stars because, while not perfect, they are very good.

Great Item!
I LOVE these underarm shields! They are truly wonderful. They keep me dry, helps with B.O. (let's be honest... it happens now and then), and are actually comfortable. I found them very easy to apply and remove from my garments. Now... some details...I bought these to help "stretch" my clothes on a 30 day trip through out Europe where only one small suitcase was allowed. These helped me get at least two wears out of my tops before having to wash them. They were easy to put on IF YOU REMEMBER TO TAKE YOUR TIME! If you rush, you will run into trouble. Take it slow. Be sure to turn your top inside out! (Not sure how you'd do it any other way... but it's worth noting.) As for removal... again... TAKE YOUR TIME! If you rush, the shields CAN rip and the adhesive tape can stick. I had tops made of cotton, linen, polyester, and rayon and the shields stuck firm to all materials... and removed easily without any left over residue.I will be sure to buy these again... but remember... take your time! If you do... you will be rewarded with amazing results!

GREAT! better than i thought.
so. i'm a flight attendant and i'm going thru perimenopause (i know. too much information!) so i have hot flashes all the time! like worse than I heard it was going to be! it's so annoying and i can't control it. I sweat thruout the day and night and my work shirts are getting the worst of it. underarm yellowing and smell. I googled sweat help and somehow, many forms of shirt pads came up. some are stick ons, some are snap to bra. some are disposable, some washable. i bought both. this is the disposable stick ons. i wore them on my last flying job. wasn't sure how to apply the pad but one i aligned it to my shirt, it worked! i mean, i sweat still but at least my shirt is saved!it's gonna be costly ultimately buying them all the time or....i'm going to try the washables next. see how they work.but this will suffice for now. hope it works for you!

Strong chemical smell
I've worn these for 20 years without any complaints, however, the last packages I purchased have a strong chemical smell. I think it is the adhesive strips used to stick them to your clothes. The smell is so strong it permeated my garments and smelled up my closet. People who come near me can smell it. Ugh. I've thrown them out.
